Gravatar My father was a type-II diabetic. His idea was to deal with his disease by drinking lots and lots of lite beer. (You may correctly guess that my father had another illness as well.)

The result was that he died at age 62 of his first massive heart attack. The paramedics, who came from only 2 blocks away, said that he was certainly dead before his face hit the ground.

That was what I thought about when I read the title "Loving Beer to Death."

Please be careful with that beer, Flash. I'm 62 myself this year, and it seems relevant somehow. (I have given up the alcohol, however.)

Gravatar Seems to me it would have been much cheaper to be cremated and use an empty
beer can.

Gravatar Wow, Pabst....

You'd at least think he'd go for a Sam Adams or Guinness casket....

(Then again, perhaps those are rather expensive in comparison?)

Gravatar So Flash!

Will it be Yeungling or Genny Cream Ale lining your casket?...Or perhaps Mr. Windsor?

LOL
