Is a drug addict the dominant person in a relationship just because he/she chose to be a drug addict?
The women aren't necessarily dominant partners, since they're not exactly choosing to feed themselves and be in that shape.
You can only be dominant if you deliberately choose to take a certain cause of action. and I'd argue that if the men weren't around to goad them, then at best they wouldn't eat that way, and at worst they'd eat that way but feel guilty about it.
This is quite seperate from the general issue of the media's obsession with thin people, and whether "large/fat" people can be attractive, which, of course they can be and most definitely are. Within reason.
