Money is a universally accepted fiction that facilitates social control of the masses by a relatively small group of people who manipulate the global monetary system.

i can understand the fictional part...though much of what we work with is a social construction of some sort. i also understand HOW elites use it. but because it has this use doesn't necessarily mean it was created for this purpose. it facilitates exchange and helps define standard rates of value in markets.

You hit the nail on the head Lester. It may not have been created to support R/WS and economic elitism, but that doesn't change the fact that it is used that way. Money does facilitate exchange but the standard rates of value are so mercurial that money has to a large extent lost it's functionality as setting or maintaining standards of value. The money itself is no longer used. Just the idea of it.

You can not win if you do not have a winning team. That means, if you have a spouse, partner, lover, whatever who are not as disciplined as you are and have to be and have no inclination to become such, who are spendthrifts and financial black holes, if you want to be a survivor or even successful in this arena of economic warfare, you have to ditch them. Now.
Slow down bruh. War is about unit cohesion, not unit attrition. If the people around you aren't up to speed, you train them, you don't ditch them.
"Four brave men who do not know each other will not dare to attack a lion. Four less brave, but knowing each other well, sure of their reliability and consequently of mutual aid, will attack resolutely. There is the science of the organization of armies in a nutshell."

Money is a medium of exchange; a form of currency.
We should be clear that we're not in a war. War is a state of belligerence between sovereign nations. America's affecting a police action in Iraq and Afghanistan. Its purpose is to remove incompetent and potentially uncooperative or unreliable heads of state who've acted as proxies for the oil industry. Therefore, it can be argued the ongoing occupation of both countries is more about geopolitics ('order') than economics ('resources').

Money (or its' concept, regardless of form) is THE tool used for barter.
As such, what is actually bartered has gone far beyond goods and services. Dwight has pointed out / reconfirmed that money is used to support "R/WS and economic elitism", and we have to be at least as good, if not better, at the skill required to manipulate this TOOL for our collective benefit.

I would have to second with Dwight with what money is. Money is essentially an invention of certain people to substitute actual goods.

Money determines the way that people live their lives. Depending upon how much you have you are either scraping, struggling, comfortable, or free.

Don't forget as you consider how money is used and where it comes from, the crucial psychological dimension of how it works in and on the human psyche. There's a reason (or instinct) involved that has kept it fresh lo these many thousands of years.
$$$ - It's a Hit
don't give me that do goody good bullshit...,
The inadequacies of Tool Theory can be overcome, and the phenomena that it fails to explain can be integrated, by asserting that money also acts as a Drug. That is, we conclude that money derives some of its incentive power from providing the illusion of fulfilment of certain instincts.

Money is an IOU. I gave you 10 tomatoes, you give me 10 bananas. Don't have 10, give me 5 bananas and 5 little stones which I'll use in the future to get my 5 damn bananas. This system sucks.
Here is how it works. The black man works hard and earns 25 little stones, but the boss man (read white supremacist) only pays him 20. They keep the other 5 and stockpile them. Eventually they pay back 50% of them in welfare, unemployment and food stamps.
The black man purchases 5 thesauri and becomes a blogger on a black blog site. The black women earn the stones, pay the bills, raise the children and the black bloggers keep blogging.
