But your ideas seem geared toward the individual rather than a class. Undoubtedly, a person who sets their mind to it can succeed as a Forex trader. My question is what are the ramifications of that individual's success for an Af-Am economy, or class-wide Af-Am economic advancement/expansion? <br><br>One thing to consider is Af-Ams do not have a proprietary currency of their own to trade on the exchange.<br /><span class=\"byline\"> MIB | <a href=\"http://blog.360.yahoo.com/neon_noodley2k\" title=\"http://blog.360.yahoo.com/neon_noodley2k\">Homepage</a> | 10.13.07 - 1:30 pm | <a href=\"#8798\" title=\"Link to this comment\">#</a></span></p><hr /></td></tr><tr><td class=\"MessageCell\"> <a name=\"8835\"></a> <p><img src=\"http://www.gravatar.com/avatar.php?gravatar_id=94de16cdbdb952e2be7a1464b9987b2e&amp;default=http%3A%2F%2Fec1.images-amazon.com%2Fimages%2FG%2F01%2Fx-locale%2Fcommon%2Ftransparent-pixel.gif&amp;rating=PG&amp;size=32\" alt=\"Gravatar\" title=\"Gravatar\" style=\"padding: 1px; margin: 2px; float: right;\" class=\"gravatar\" />If you go back an read the \"Welcome\" post, you'll find the following:<br><br>\"The economic strategies to be developed here are akin to guerrilla war tactics.<br><br>They have to be flexible, implementable by individuals or small teams, require little or no start-up capital, be able to sustain a comfortable life-style, and enable each of us to pull another African up behind us.\"<br /><span class=\"byline\"> Michael Fisher | <a href=\"http://assaultonblacksanity.blogspot.com\" title=\"http://assaultonblacksanity.blogspot.com\">Homepage</a> | 10.13.07 - 2:08 pm | <a href=\"#8835\" title=\"Link to this comment\">#</a></span></p><hr /></td></tr><tr><td class=\"MessageCell\"> <a name=\"8851\"></a> <p><img src=\"http://www.gravatar.com/avatar.php?gravatar_id=07074c99190b0116392ad276ed268db0&amp;default=http%3A%2F%2Fec1.images-amazon.com%2Fimages%2FG%2F01%2Fx-locale%2Fcommon%2Ftransparent-pixel.gif&amp;rating=PG&amp;size=32\" alt=\"Gravatar\" title=\"Gravatar\" style=\"padding: 1px; margin: 2px; float: right;\" class=\"gravatar\" />In your 'welcome' thread I asked what is to be the standard by which success is gauged and how shall it be determined? While the model is fine and well, borrowing money on the margin to play in the markets is neither novel nor <i>guerilla</i> in any sense of either term.
