When i was in Israel this song played non- stop there. I think it's a ukranian song but they are singing in romanian. Or the opposite, but who cares. It's awesome bouncy music and brings wicked summer memories.

Speaking of catchy songs that make you dance, my new recommendation for must-have elliptical machine rock-out music is Le Tigre's cover of I'm So Excited. Every review I saw said it was awful, but they are SO WRONG. I can listen to it on repeat at the gym and go absolutely nuts every time.

I liked Numa Numa better. I first saw it a week ago, but this version rocks harder because it has subtitles, for the karaoke enthusiast who's gotta sing along even if she don't speak Rumanian...

The stoner who sent me the Titanic clip was familiar with Namu Namu. And Petitedov, I wouldn't be surprised if he heard it in Israel, too. (He's been there several times in the last few months, and was there last summer too.)

I totally LOVE that song! I was checking out some website that has a ton of those funny clips and found our techno-dancing, lypsynching friend. Funny, funny stuff! Perfect Monday pick-me-up.
