When you told me about this the other night, I thought about emailing all my friends about Lynn's, bless his heart, antics but now I'll just send this link to them. Hopefully Lynn and the boys will survive these formative years without too much trama. And yes you know what bless his heart means. |

Well, this story was worth a giggle or two...I think I annoyed Pat a bit. Lynn should know better, the operator was the icing on the cake for the hilarity though. Here's hoping the boys are smart enough to learn from this fiasco. |

I have to admit I had to giggle a lot while reading this (even so I know I shouldn't..., sorry), it reminded me of all the terrible things my brother and I came up with. Glad you could retrieve the object from the nostril though. |

Amy, that is just so funny. I laughed all the way through it. The "shoving things up your nose" hasn't hit our house but my brother has taken his son to the hospital more than once to have things extracted. |
|
Well, once it was over and the candy was put out to pasture we laughed too. And I've laughed every time I've shared the story since. It's just my childhood karma coming back to me. I'll take it. And I'll happily remind my kiddos too when the time comes for them to retrieve things from their own children's noses. |

Hi Amy, |
|
Now that was a good story! I wish you had taped it. |

I worked nights (still do) when Matt was young, he and his dad would belly up to the tv for baseball. I came one night to find Matt eating pop-corn and Hot Dogs, the two things I told D not to feed him because the pediatrician said absolutely NOT. Then many years later – Matt and I swam at the neighbor’s pool almost everyday. I would make sure I was in the middle of the pool, being at the ready, every time Matt dove off the board.. The ONE time D went with him to swim, I go over later…Matt is diving off the board, no one ready to save him in the pool, Matt is snorting, coughing, swimming, barely making it over to the side stairs. D says, yeah, Matt dives off the diving board with no problem. |
