I've lived in Texas all my life. I grew up in San Antonio, went to college in San Angelo and just moved from Houston to Waco. In all those years I was lucky enough to never experience hurricanes, tornados and even missed tropical storm Allison by two weeks. Needless to say, I'm panicking-just a little. All I can think is: batten down the hatches! (I too have family and friends in S.A., Dallas and Houston- y'all are in my thoughts too!)

Amy, I have been thinking of you all day... thanks so much for the maps and info. Take care of your little family in Denton and keep us posted on how your extended family fares. If you want to evacuate to WA let me know, we've always got room.
