Okay, here is my suet story. Back in the day when I was suppose to be making dinners for our existence, I was not very good at it. One night D came home to find me mixing up apples, prunes, raisins, old peanut butter, seeds. (all stuff I was cleaning out the cabinets, and had cut down many apples from a tree we had ... had lots of apple scrap). So, D walks in and looks in this bowl of yummy stuff, and says WOW, what are you making for dinner. I explained to him what is was and why. His comment was, great, you are feeding those big crows PRUNES so they can have lose bowels in our backyard. But I loved making suet. |
