rubber bands don't slide worth a (you know what)! |
true, but two of them sure make a nice gasket around the rim of the box! |
and lynn adds, "round boxes sure do roll nice." we would have to retest the whole thing rolling, instead of sliding, with the higher rate of speed and therefore greater force exerted at impact and all. although, it's all neither here nor there because logan hasn't seen the rubber bands as an option yet |

What about Scotch tape>>>>>> |

Hi Grandpa - So far the only conclusion he's come to is tying it with yarn, except he doesn't know how to tie a bow yet and this fact frustrates him and he's stumped. We're going to have another brainstorming session on Tuesday. Hopefully a day out of sight and then seeing it again with fresh eyes will do the trick. |

omg, school projects! I just want to hide in my garage and do them myself. It is so hard to be neutral/helpful and not just jump all over it. |
You know who his mom is if he's going straight for yarn and passing up tape and rubber bands |
Yeah, I wasn't expecting homework and projects either. Good luck to Logan and his egg! |

Clever boy, and no, a test run is not cheating, in my opinion. Every man of science needs the foreknowledge of what his specimens will do under the cold light of scrutiny. |
