Oh Amy - I'm so sorry to hear about all this. I knew about the asthma attack but I'm so sad at all the stress it has caused you I hate those days when I yell at my daughter and just act like a complete ass I'm glad to hear things are getting better and I hope they continue to get better. I knew something was up!! I'm so sorry about Caleb going to the hospital. That is definitely a tail spinner. Don't worry about us swappers. Caleb's health & your sanity is so much more important. We've ALL had those scream at your kids moments that you wished never happened. Hang in there and just remember to breath, relax and breath some more. I have to remind myself all the time.

Do I know this scenerio oh so well. I get angry at the situation and it sometimes comes out the wrong way. It is so stressful--no doubt! Your little one in the hospital is the worst. I hope you can get it under control. YOu shoulda emailed me!!! I know a bunch about asthma and I found it out the hard way. I had a hairraising experience that I haven't even mentioned yet--we finally saw our specialist too and finally a few answers.

Oh man, it sounds like you have had a terrible few weeks! I know it's easier said than done, but you shouldn't feel ANY guilt about anything right now! You are doing the best you can under difficult circumstances. I am so glad Caleb is feeling better though! The picture of him with the tubes in his nose makes me feel sick myself, ugh I can't imagine seeing my child like that.

ugh amy! I'm so sorry about caleb and the asthma...and then caleb and the bedtime story. I can totally relate and perform regularly as the resident asshole I know you know you're a great mom but I'll say it anyway (you're a great mom!)

All great Moms have a bad moment now and then. My favorite was the AM early in my single Mom days when the older 2 where fighting, the baby was crying and I was trying to get everyone fed and out the door. I took the whole open box of Cheerios and just flung them around the kitchen....all over the counter and floor, Cheerios everywhere! The baby stopped crying, the big kids stood in amazement and I started laughing instead of screaming. We all calmed down, cleaned up and went about our day. Apologizing and letting our kids see that we can sometimes behave badly too is a good thing! good job Mom!

That is so scary about Caleb! And of course ... getting down and losing tempers ... and realizing the error, all a part of motherhood...
