Those who cannot hex, cannot heal..and there is a time and a place for hexing (returning the negativity done to innocent people by abusive people e.g., rapists).
There is too much 'New Age' influence and 'peace and light', partly for publicity purposes - to make Wicca and witchcraft seem more palatable to the general public and to those with weak, faint hearts and minds - and the fact is there is no difference between self-defense physically asgainst a rapist and self-defense via hexing, via the occult (or, if you want to be pedantic, via witchcraft or Wicca)
....or would your way have a survivor pray for them to 'come into the light'?
There is a time and place for hexing. This is FEMINIST witchcraft and I suggest you read Zsuzsanna Budapest on this if you need a longer justification for hexes. But it is time to realise hexes do have their place and those who shy away from ever believing this shouldn't have ever gotten involved with Wicca, Witchcraft or the Occult in the first place. To thos who think hexing perpetrators of crimes etc is bad and the legal system is going to deliver the justice required, WAKE UP! It won't and it doesn't. Hexing is not always needed but when it is, a REAL witch should be able to do so and do so without any problems because she is not harming someone who is innocent of wrongdoing but on the contrary!
