I lost my leg to a maritime accident about 8 years ago. I'm grand now. A few years back I was looking to get a dog and saw an ad in the local paper. A 8 month old golden lab had been hit by a car and had her leg amputated. Her owners didn't want a handicapped dog and they gave her up to the GSPCA. I'm sure Freud would have loads to say as to why, but I called and shes mine now. We're like bookends.
The whole point of my post was that was going to have my limbfitter make a leg for my dog, but she didn't have a stump to attach it to. She gets on brilliantly without it though.
