I will be completely honest here ...... BE HONEST with yourself!!!!! (and I do mean with everyone who knows "yourself"as well) They will all forgive you eventually for whatever you tell them. (You owe NO more to ANYONE) Life is VERY short. (You know that I know what I'm talking about here) It is your life .... then it is gone. (and unless you are a believer .... REALLY gone!) Me and better half want to see Rome, The Louvre , Roslin, and gaze in wonder at ancient human history in all its forms as well. We WILL do it. You will probably outlive me. Don't DARE let ME experience more history than you who is the chosen one by our father and mentor. It is you who is supposed to absorb and appreciate this stuff!! YOU who is educated in the right way to appreciate it. DO IT !!!!! (Damn You!) Maybe this isn't for the Blog but it just might be a way to get through to you.
I think you definitely need to carve out some time for yourself, somehow, someway. You will be a much better parent, partner and friend if you're satisfied with your life. Those who love you will understand if you explain what you're going through and how desperate you're feeling.
I've been to Rome, around twenty years ago! But Paris is still my favorite.
Between Disrep and Sweat Pants Mom...I have been TOLD! I know I being a big sniveler and complaining and bringing everyone down. I NOW STOP IT.. Hence forth, I am nothing but cheery and upbeat.
