This about sums up my thoughts on the Pro Bowl aside from one thing... I knew the Pro Bowl was on, had a chance to watch it, and like always, didn't. And I don't regret it one bit!

I didn't watch the Pro Bowl either, nor do I make a regular habit of catching the game. The one time I did, however, was in 1992, when Wayne Fontes of the mighty Detroit Lions was the coach of the NFC squad.

And I actually got some kind of thrill out of the game, thinking that the NFC win somehow soothed the pain of the Lions getting stomped by the Redskins in the NFC championship game. Man, was I a moron. I attribute it to the naivete of youth.
