Gravatar He's absolutely the best player in the league. Maybe LeBron has more skills, but Wade has a ring and got it by dominating the finals. It was Jordanesque--and I don't throw that around lightly.

Gravatar Yes I hope people don't compare Wade to Jordan. Wade has one ring. I mean Will Purdue has more rings. Let Wade keep doing his thing and we'll see.

Gravatar Just a quick note---I just read Bill Simmons latest column on Dwayne Wade and Shaq and it's brilliant. Simmons has been mailing it in for at least 6-8 months now but he absolutely nails this one. One of the things that bugs me about Shaq is his ego which is as big as he is. To him, Dwayne Wade's emergence is all about how much he did to make it happen. What a dick.

Gravatar For me, I'd still take LeBron James by a hair. He'd still bigger, stronger, and faster. He didn't win the ring, but he had nowhere near the supporting cast that Wade did.

Honestly, I think it's about a pick'em with James, Wade, and Kobe. Just depends on the day.

Gravatar Great post, hope you don't mind me posting it on a forum I use http://www.121s.com/viewtopic.php?t=9824

I agree that LBJ & DWade will (or at least should) be the players fighting it out for the MVP over the coming years.
