Just read your whole blog--keep up the good work. I'm making a triple batch of chili (beef, beans, chilis, unsweetened chocolate, dark beer, toasted and ground cumin, some other stuff) today and will revel in the aroma as well as knowing I have something good tucked away for coming cold evenings.

hi julia,
I so identify with this... my eating habits inevitably make those of the "older" generation balk in horror! I like all those foods that are meant to be eaten piping hot (like tong shuis etc) chillingly cold, straight from the fridge! I even eat my hot toast with cold ice cream ; ) and what is life without ice kacang right? : )

hehe, it's really something i also allude to but my folks surf the net...so hehe...but i'm also 7000miles away anyways, i think they should be happy that we're even eating food that is not nuked from a package.

Hey dear, who says I don't surf the net. Ever since they came out with this flipstart minipc, I've been hooked. Now go eat some hot food!

hi karen, thanks for the encouragement! it's nice to know there are others who also share the love of aroma-cooking.
Renee, stef, sounds like we all deserve a spanking from our parents! Mama FatMan, care to do the honors??
