If I'm not completely wrong, it sounds like the peril of recording a day in advance biting them on the bum. 'There are no Lib Dems left and nobody will ever vote for them,' they all laughed. Whoops. Construct a popular phrase or saying incorporating the words 'egg' and 'face'.
