Haha, I am going to see how far I can go without just cause I am curious. I certainly have no problem asking for pain medication if I decide I am too tired, or have had enough.

That's an awfully cute baby you've got there. I mean, she has to be because: a) you're her mom [and have you seen you? You're gorgeous!], and b) your little belly is so damn cute it must mean the baby is adorable!
Nesting is the best. Gosh, my daughter's already 15 and I'm still nesting! I'm completely happy today because I'm home cleaning, doing laundry, rearranging portraits on the walls, reassembling the downstairs bath, etc.

Every birth is wonderful and special but, gotta say it, I loved having you. You know the story. Three of the greatest hours of my life. We wrote the predawn wave in together. Graceful. Painless without drugs. Home. Your dad catching you in his arms...before the midwife arrives. Sailors wanted your caul. Wise woman. Cord twice around your neck. Brahmin, they say. My baby, I say.
