But if our husband love us as Christ loves the church doesn't that mean he has to be accepting of us as Christ is? Faults and all?
Yes but our concern should be with our own actions. And our husbands are human. There are faults of ours that they will struggle with accepting. And unconditional acceptance only comes from God. As wives, we should be focusing on our own walk and what we are to do as Christians and wives and not be putting pressure on our husbands to be like Christ when that isn't our job, but the Holy Spirit's.
