It looks like a wonderful visit there. I really need to make it down there soon.

I made pancakes on Sunday using the bloody butcher mix and whole wheat pastry flour and I used the Jennings sour milk pancake recipe and put in cherries, frog holler strawberries and blueberries from my fave blueberry lady (the one who also sells kettle corn and tea towels). They were amazing. This may become a Sunday tradition around here.

I have been to eastern Market many times. the distance is about the same to the Ann Arbor as to the Eastern.

Jen - Your pancakes sound ABFAB! And you should definitely make the trip to Eastern Market sometime. Just watching the people go by was worth the trip, but they also have some great stuff there.


Shayne - Prices at Eastern Market are definitely lower, but I have to say I think the selection is too. My cousin Kara says Eastern Market needs a lot more farmers.
