Lovely blog, Kim, and the picture of Nano makes me smile and ache at the same time. We fell into some local produce action here in Brooklyn, believe it or not -- pressing apples picked from neighborhood trees into cider. It was the best-tasting stuff, and I don't even like cider all that much.
I miss the Farmer's Market there, and Bob Sparrow.

Wow, that's great about your cider. I wish we could do that with the apples from our trees. You must be finding a lot of nice food in Brooklyn - seems like a lot of greenmarket and CSA stuff happening there. I'm looking for more "guest marketers" if you ever want to post something about it.
I know what you mean about Nano - I still miss her every day and at the same time find myself inspired by her.

Hey wow i love your site. We're looking for a Kerrytown apartment rite now for next year and the top reason is due to the Farmer's Market. We love the feel of kerrytown and the wonderful local feel to it. Im loving exploring your site and we are planning on making our way to the farmers market soon to post on our blog and of course for all its amazing goodies! :D
