I'm definitely making a trip there... this post has my mouth watering. I'm a huge fan of their breads. Also, the PFC carries come of their cookies/pastries and Plum carries a variety of their products, but there's no doubt that I've never seen some of the things you were describing. Hi Jen - You're right that they have some great breads. Avalon is pretty close to Slow's BBQ, the Catherine Ferguson Academy is not far, and the Eastern Market also. So, many potential ways to turn it into a day trip.
