The statue does seem to have hit a chord with people. Haven't been down to see it yet, but I agree with you that it's entirely admirable and I like its classical(ish) style. One can't help thinking that the dreadful struggle that Lapper has been through in her life means she represents courage just as much as good old Nelson (who was, of course, also disabled). Nice pictures, old boy. |
