I don't know if it's just me, but this video and the Hobbit video are not loading.

Gravatar So black people (sorry 'African Americans') need a special explanation given to them before they can understand something? From whom? And if they are finally able to comprehend an issue they will always choose the more liberal option, right, because like atheists apparently, blacks are by definition liberal?

Or is it that many blacks hold conservative (often religiously motivated) views on homosexuality and white liberals are rather uncomfortable with this, so patronisingly make out that it is because they were tricked by the nasty, evil conservatives? Why can't they trick we enlightened, pink, atheists?

Perhaps in view of 97% of 'African American' voters voting for Barack Obama they should in future elections be given an explantion they can understand of the issues, so they don't just choose the one whose skin is the nearest in colour to theirs.

(Oh, and if they were just voting on the issues and 97% just happened to think the Obamessiah right and it was nothing to do with colour, that would have applied if 97% of whites voted for Sen. McCain, yeah? There wouldn't have been any racism accusations if that had happened?)

Gravatar To further Simon's thoughts - I fully expect that AAs a couple of generations ago would know bigotry when they saw it, in any form.

This would lead me to believe there is no significant racial discrimination anymore and I can stop worrying about it.

Gravatar This crap wouldn't continue if we were familiar with the arguments against interracial marriage.

There should be a flying-spaghetti monster-type group that is against same-hair-color marriages. All we'd need is an iffy bible quote, an appeal to the mythical 'historical marriage', and some over-wrought outrage.

Gravatar Religion is the elephant in the room that the news really won't touch because it explains away most of the stories that make these stupid shows. By not talking about religion as the culprit they can speculate and weave much more complicated causes and needless banter for rating. It's essentially a dead end avenue to distract viewers and come off as PC.

Gravatar Man, that reporter looked like a dude. No problem guessing which way she swings.

Gravatar this is a stupid piece- typical elitist BS- the african american voters aren't smart enough to decide? racism at its best by liberals...disgusting

Gravatar The ugly man is annoying.
