you know, this is the same reason some christians are so "saved vs sinner" about simple issues like wearing pants, jewelry or where someone spends their freetime and with whom. Paul of the bible also spouted rubbish on the issues of people's appearance causing someone to "stumble". The burden almost always falls on WOMEN with emotions not worthy of consideration! "All religious scholars in agrrement" my arse! MOst realize the hijab isn't in the koran or necessary for any "salvation". These must be the fundamentalists of Islam, they should hang out with the fundies of USA Christianity.
