I just listened to this. Mathis and the other producers are some of the most intellectually dishonest disingenuous amateur hacks, only outdone by the the intellectually dishonest disingenuous professionals at the Discovery Institute.

I loved the part where Mark admits he doesn't know the ruling of the Dover trial. I almost died from laughing.
I kept waiting for the SciAm team to simply insist that Mathis produce the evidence or even a test to support his "theory" so that it could be scientifically considered. After so much hemming and hawing he would be left offering nothing more than an poorly formed idea with nothing to back it up.

WOW!, I can barely stand to listen to this... The SciAm guys were way to easy on him esp. on the first two items - his either a] amateur or b] dishonest journalistic attempts are nothing short of breathtaking... He'll never work for anyone other than fundamentalists after this. I wish more people would just laugh at this... even me... if it weren't such a serious threat to everything I hold dear, it would be a joke.
Ben Stein should be ashamed for this piece of propaganda that he calls a documentary.
