Well since it does in fact become the body of Jesus, someone should do some simple tests to prove it, OH WAIT it probably turns back to a wafer when it comes under the scrutiny of science. God the infallibility of religion is revealed yet again...

I know why Harper pocketed the wafer. It has the image of Michael Jackson on it. He's keeping it for the day when he's out of office and needs the cash. Then he'll flog it on ebay.

Its not that Harper is making a statement, hes just the 'wrong' kind of Christian. He's a protestant. But, i agree with Otto I would hate Harper slightly less if he said it was 'just a fucking cracker'.
In point of fact, Harper didn't pocket the wafer to make some sort of statement about the inanity of Catholic dogma, quite the contrary ; Harper is a protestant wingnut, and his unquestioning faith cannot suffer a simple, diplomatic show of conciliation with another faith.
I can't wait to elect someone less overbearingly rigid and close-minded to head the country.
Clearly, a reason to step down.
