"The USA has become the strongest nation on earth because of its Judeo-Christian traditions."
Well, that and geographic isolation from Europe, a diversity of natural resources and their protectionism within global markets, oh, and the destruction of Europe by two world wars and America's necessary advantage in the Bretton Woods system.
Sure, it could be the Judeo-Christian traditions, but American empire is contingent on a small set of historical causes, and is certainly not the norm since its formation (as Judeo-Christian foundations might suggest).
But I'm wasting time of course, O'Reilly cant be concerned with historical facts.

So, for 42 years the Constitutional rights of every American have been violated, using public funds AND the US military whose duty is to defend those rights. Isn't that lovely?
Apparently a few decades is enough to make something "tradition," and it can't be hypocrisy or discrimination if it's a tradition, by God!
He's a complete asshat, but you've gotta admit he does his JOB well. Dammit all to hell.

"The USA has become the strongest nation on earth because of its Judeo-Christian traditions."
The USA became the strongest nation on earth because of the free market and a somewhat capitalist system. People were free to believe as they wish and to produce as they wish.
Notice how the more central and involved our government becomes the more chaotic, unproductive, destructive, and poorer our country is.

"The USA became the strongest nation on earth because of the free market and a somewhat capitalist system. People were free to believe as they wish and to produce as they wish."
The US has never had a 'free' market. Prominent economists such as Paul Krugman will admit this. Nor was it ever in the US's interest to have a so-called 'free' market.
The US has trade restrictions against African produce to protect American farmers from lowering prices in the US market. The US subsidizes each cow more than the entire yearly wage of many grazers in other countries.
Then there are the hundreds of billions annually in tax and program subsidies for the US's most crucial product, gasoline. The very social architecture of the US is intricately based on the protectionism of oil prices.
Want to talk about a secular religion, the Reaganesque platitudes about 'free market' are as good as it comes.
