Funny. But has about as much to do with atheism as a Road Runner cartoon. There's enough stuff more worthy of the AM frontpage.
Also I have heard his jokes about 5 times now: http://www.buzzfeed.com/mjs538/t...every-

Matt Lauer lacks any sense of humor.

It's not that Lauer lacks a sense of humor, he was just playing the "straight man" here.

It has something to do with atheism. It is relevant to popular attitudes with respect to homosexuality. Without an imaginary god, it's very difficult to rationalize prejudicial behaviour to this group.

Relevance to atheism is very scant (in my opinion). Yes, Cohen is making people think, but I would doubt he is representative of nor a hero of homosexuals, what with his impressions and stereotyping (?). Is his method of mocking a particular image of flamboyant male homosexuality in order to raise awareness of attitudes towards gays justified?
Besides, people rationalise prejudice just fine without religion against anyone they feel superior towards. If we all think honestly about how we feel we are all prejudiced against some people at some level, with good evolutionary reasons. Anyway, I agree with Lumpi, whether funny or not, this is not the right forum for the vid.
