Jesus fucking christ. I'm really feeling with you americans that actually have to live with this kind of discourse on national TV. Simply blows my mind.
My prayers are with you all.

Oh, I love it when religious people want to debate religion with me. If they have the stones to keep the debate going long enough I can usually talk them out of their faith or see them stomp off in a huff because I won't accept the bible being true as a condition of their argument.

I'm trying to write about this ABOMINATION (Biblical word used deliberately); it's very hard to find information--and I'm right here in the Carolinas! It's like nobody wants to be seen as associating with/defending the atheists. Well, politicians represent ALL the people, including the atheists. Credit goes to you for covering this mess in its entirety. I'll be reading.
Dole disgusts me.

Whenever I think I'm hardened enough to know what's going on in this world, I see something like this.
Not on Fox News, but CNN, a halfway sane network.
Creepy beyond belief.

'...because clearly there's strong evidence for a god...'
Really? Please direct me to a peer reviewed journal where this evidence has been published....

Oh no! "She took godless money." How ridiculous! I am sick and tired of atheists be demonized like this. Hagan says she's not an atheist. Fine. Why would it matter if she was?
It is high time that atheist-bashing is called out for being exactly what it is...bigotry.

I love this site. Sighing and shaking my head. Maybe that's what religious people want us to do, be ashamed...well, F$#k them!

"Hagan says she's not an atheist. Fine. Why would it matter if she was?"
True, I voted for Hagan but its a pity she didn't explicitly address this point herself.

And here I thought they were running for political office in a secular nation, not priesthood; silly me.
"I don't know why because clearly there's strong evidence that there's a god"
And that evidence is? [insert classic windows "timer" icon going on forever]
"people who are campaigning to get "In God We Trust" off the currency"
Silly atheists, Christians had the right to campaign to have it added to the currency, but you have no right to campaign to take it off. Don't you know that the idea of God is so weak it needs to be perpetually propped up on every piece of currency?
I used to say smart things on the internet, but I'm feeling so snarky nowadays all I have to say is this:
idiots.
