We need to support these brave, young Danes with packages of crayons and rolls of paper.

Im all for this stuff actually. They more muslims take to the streets in "outrage" the more animosity they brew in european countries among the native population and the more likely they will be to rise up and demand that their govs start to deport these folks.

Indigo Red,
LOL! You smartass!
Prysson,
I do hope it creates more conflict. Europe has to wake up and start kicking these fascists out of their countries. Euros have to find the right leaders however, for the ones they have are wimps.

I heard an African sounding Bishop on EWTN saying we must dialogue with Islam, and that the radical muslims simply do not understand their religion. This Bishop lives in the midst of muslims and his church is persecuted. Do you think his words come from fear? His words were perplexing!!!

Did you notice they blurred the faces of the Danes as they drew their cartoons?

Genevieve,
I do think the bishop is speaking out of fear - and hope. The Pope is tryiing to have a dialogue, but I don't know if that'll do any good. They won't listen. The Holy Father also said that the problem is that Islam has no central leader, so it's hard to get a message to all of them.
Mike,
Yes, I noticed that they blurred the faces. Deliberately, I'm sure. Those kids don't want to end up the same way Theo Van Gogh did.

I don't blame them for blurring their faces. You can't draw cartoons without your head!
I just returned from church where we always say a prayer for peace, although I don't see how we can have peace with people as irrational as islamofascists.
...and good for the Danes! We all need to take a stand against their persecution. It really bothers me that so many in America have concluded that everything is our fault.
Blessings!

Gayle,
We pray for peace in our parish too. But our pastor is a liberal who spouts a lot of his leftist leanings. I was furious when he asked us to pray for the murderer of those Amish children, yet said NOTHING about praying for the victims!
I'm disgusted with the rampant liberalism infecting the Catholic clergy in the U.S. There are some good, orthodox priests, but they are outnumbered. Fortunately we have a generation of orthodox seminarians emerging so the next generation won't be as tainted as the ones from the 60's and 70's.
