The ironic thing about Prof Reynolds, considering that he is such a proponent of blogging, is that his blog sucks. Glennreynolds.com and his other big media articles are much better.

i have been to Tennessee several times and i have seen one of their 'colleges'. if it is anything like cookeville, no one should read him outside of other crackers.

Dispatch from the front lines

This corespondent spent the last two days at the Ft Bend Co. Fair in the part of the country that spawned the evil known as Tom Delay.
A grim scene, our tiny table was adrift in a sea of 10 gallon hats and and Texas A&M muscle shirts. Young brown shirts march by, Republicans stickers dispayed and hate in their eyes. They start em early here.

Expecting heavy incoming fire with possible teargassings and police dogs, this reporter was astounded to discover some truths not included in all the CW briefings. There are voices of sanity here in the heart of the beast. From the fog of intolerence figures would stumble into our little bunker saying things like"thank god for you people."

They would sign our petitions, listen to our propaganda, decorate themselves with Dean stickers and depart with hope, knowing someone was taking this fight to the heart of the enemy.

A reconisence in force proved that our erstwile allies the Clarkinistas were also engaged
in some force. No sign of anyone named gephart, kerry, etc, but that was to be expected.

Cornering some of the enemy forces, they were made to watch propaganda and constantly asked why they were Republicans. None could actually answer other than with they just were.

But you could see the fear in their eyes, you could smell the stink of it, like some cheap domestic beer and tabacco mix.

So in this humble reporters humble opinion the war goes well. The enemy has numbers, but conviction is lacking. If these two days were an example, than the enemy will have to fight hard even his own capitol. And there are resistance fighters here in force ready to fight the good fight.

You should be more fair to Instapundit. You know he hasn't the time to READ the stuff he blogs about.

Probably has students screening the media for him, like Bush (except if it were like Bush it would be his bosses doing th screening).
