The former chief internal watchdog at the FBI has pleaded guilty to sexually assaulting a 6-year-old girl and has admitted he had a history of molesting other children before he joined the bureau for what became a two-decade career.
John H. Conditt Jr., 53, who retired in 2001, was sentenced last week to 12 years in prison in Tarrant County court in Fort Worth, Texas, after he admitted he molested the daughter of two FBI agents after he retired. He acknowledged molesting at least two other girls before he began his law enforcement career, his lawyer said.

I say we go back to 50s style divorce laws, while we're at it. How can the Marriage Defenders refuse. As has been pointed out on this site, no- fault divorce has made it so much easier. I say the straights have to go back to arranging who's going to be the adulterer if they're serious about defending traditional marriage.

People don't want someone else's religious beliefs shoved down their throats. That's why those of Gary Bauer's ilk aren't meeting with enough success and ultimately will not get their agendas into the mainstream.
I always get the feeling that Gary Bauer is the result of some 40s era breeding experiment gone horribly wrong. He reminds me of the trial scene in the movie, M. And I don't mean the gangsters.

Interesting that despite his disparaging remarks about gays, Watergate criminal Charles Colson sought out a gay man, Irving Rapper, to direct the film version of the story of his life, Born Again.

It's hard to have anything on a guy who uses "The Brilliant Peggy Noonan" as a headline without being sarcastic. Adam Yoshida is a good real life "Chickenblogger Down."
Ikan, I recently read an article in the UK press about tolerance of homosexuality in Saudi Arabia - it's surprisingly prevalent, despite the best efforts of the local cultural/moral police. Saudis know that homosexuality exists, they don't like it, but nine times out of ten they do nothing about it - unless there's something else (like the perpetrators being foreign) upon which some charges can be stuck.
The grim reality is that Bushboy, Cheneychins, Frist, Delay and various other Gooper luminaries belong in federal prison, not public office!
Their depraved indifference to human life with their lies to promote a war against a paper tiger like Saddam, who they portrayed as an "imminent threat" is reason enough to clap them in jail.
In addition, they have proven to be utterly corrupt in selling out the health and welfare of the American people with regard to the environment and their financial well being, as they allow polluters and Wall St. frauds to profiteer for a fee.
Finally, their fiscal irresponsibility in wrecking the federal budget with record deficits is the definition of malfeasance in office and dereliction of duty.

It's all true. I have a tragic problem with addition. I've had chicken pox, and I have a mark to show for it (although it's more comic than tragic--it looks something like Bert from Sesame St.). Dealing with homophobes is miserable. I'm also certain that I will feel my death to be too early, when it comes.
I just wish those Billy dolls came with some sort of "exaggerated penis may cause eye injury" warning. Tsk. So tacky.
