But here I found not only those of us who had kept that belief system over the years, but the next generations who share our "Question everything" attitude. What a community you have sown, and we have all nutured.

I remember when 20 comments was a pretty good thread, and 40 comments seemed soooo long.
I knew Atrios had "made it" when he put out the tip jar to raise about $4k last fall to buy himself a laptop and do some renovations. He hinted that he expected it would take a week or so. I made my first donation *ever* for political purposes. The tip jar was full within about 8 hours or less, then some rich bastard bought him the computer outright, fucking show off.
