Yes. It is perfectly clear. Absolutely nothing about white and/or American war criminals being prosecuted. Even the Republican Guard don't fall under IOKIYAR. What is hypocritical, if you recall those provisos he considers undeserving of mention?

But he also said...
the detainees will not be called prisoners of war...
the president decided the Al Qaeda would not fit under the Geneva Convention
because the United States places such emphasis on the Geneva Convention that American officials do not consider Al Qaeda covered by the agreement nor are they willing to award the Taliban detainees POW status.
President Bush ... also determined that Taliban detainees do not meet the convention's criteria for prisoner of war status
it was determined that while the Third Geneva Convention applied to our conflict with the Taliban, the ad hoc militia that constituted Taliban forces did not qualify for POW status
so that's why Bremer disbanded the Republican Guard...

Repubs are thinking back to the good old days, when Fallujah was the center of attention, and we handed it over to Saddam's Generals. You say "I Rack", I say "E Rack", let's call the whole thing off.

Excerpts from H. CON. RES. 118, which passed the House of Representatives March 27, 2003, after captured US soldiers were displayed on Al Jazeera
...prisoners of war be protected against acts of violence or intimidation and against insults and public curiosity....Third Geneva Convention explicitly prohibits the infliction of physical or mental torture and other forms of coercion on prisoners of war...any individual who mistreats any prisoner of war in violation of that Convention shall be considered a war criminal and prosecuted as such to the full extent of United States and international law...

I wonder if the neocon members of congress knew this when they forced that legislation through the house stating that americans can't be tried for war crimes by other nations?
It's as if they knew this was going to happen? Almost like they themselves were hoping to go over there and join in the fun raping children, and slobbing some iraqi's knob?
Since we've seen how a great many neocons like soliciting sex on internet chat rooms from minors it only makes sense they were setting things in motion for when they get over there to have themselves some fun.
Hypocrit. It's always the same old story. Lies, prevarications, coverups, bullshit by the barge load. Bush is a fool.

The neocons have shown themselves unworthy of moral authority for the foreseeable future. Stick a fork in 'em.
Attention Bush administration supporters: you're done. Step aside, the adults have to clean up the mess now.

A'yup. A classic case of the old same-old-same-old. We even have the half-attendant, willfully ignorant populace standing aside saying "well, they are our enemies..."
Thanks Mr. Rove, Mr. Bush, Mr. Cheny, and you too, 'Princess Warrior' for making politics the very first consideration our leaders look to in everything they do!
We would have enough to impeach all of 'em if we actually had the democracy we used to, but we haven't had that for a while now.
