I'MMA LET YOU FINISH

GravatarAbout 10 years ago, I saw Smith do his one-man Frederick Douglass show. It was amazing. I've never figured out why he's never become a bigger star. It's certainly not due to a shortage of talent or passion.

GravatarOT

Don't Ask: Stalin vs Hitler, the comic.

GravatarWhat's the title of the [mostly] one-man show? I'm not finding anything on google.

GravatarCould it be "Iceland"?

GravatarTotally OT, but I found this blog that needs some serious Atrion and Atriette intervention. Since I don't know how to insert hyperlinks or use tinyurl, despite the kind efforts of other commenters on this site, I'll break up the url so as to not break Haloscan. Just run it all together when you type in the address. Let's give this Rush-truckling twerp a few things to chew on (and be sure to go to the second page, where we get this yokel's ill-informed opinion of the war).

Thanks for that link.

I loved Smith's Huey P. Newton piece.

GravatarJennifer, Here's the hot link.> WTF? Prick!

So I get this comment from some stranger that just keeps on rambling on and on about how the rich pay less or some horsecrap like that. You mean to tell me that because individuals who are wealthy should have to pay a higher percentage of their money to help those less fortunate ones?

GravatarWhoops! missed the .

GravatarThe one he did was called "Two Fires" - paired twin stories of the philadelphia MOVE bombing and a plague from the 18th (i think) century during which free blacks were told they immune and so they should tend to the wounded...they, of course, weren't immune.

GravatarLet's see, that's ... what? Four shells now that have been discovered to have old, old chemical weapons? That's about $30 billion per shell so far, out of the pockets of American takpayers, for stuff that was 20 years old and would probably have blown up in the faces of anyone who tried to use it.

That's approximately 200 dead soldiers per warhead, too.

I just saw F9/11. The screaming wounded soldiers and dead Iraqi babies made me want to slap Bush with my dick even more.

GravatarArrgh, wrong thread...see what happens when you leave for a week or two?

GravatarThe 101st has expanded it ranks in the couple weeks you have been AWOL, unfortunately it was due to the demise of Hesiod, and some carpal tunnel syndrome to Billmon. We have fought of some infiltrators that go by the name of Toby pretzel and stunt woman. Our torches are lit, our pitchforks sharp...

GravatarToby Pretzel and Stunt Woman sounds like a really bad live theatre sex act.

GravatarOT,

I keep hearing all this stuff about IE's vulnerabilities (link below), does anyone know if Avant is susceptible to the same problems?

Accent mine. Thanks, EkCenTrik.

GravatarAccent=Emphasis=tired + buzzed.

GravatarEkCenTrik - LOL!

GravatarCentral Scrutinizer,

Avant is IE with a nice wrapper, it's sucesptible to all the same ridiculous security bugs.

I highly recommend Firefox. After you install Firefox make sure to visit plugindoc.mozdev.org so that all the normal plugins will work.

Gravatar"While numerous right-wing pundits have attacked and smeared Democratic leaders in recent months, including former Vice President Al Gore and financier, philanthropist, and political activist George Soros, radio host Rush Limbaugh took the attacks to a new level on the July 1 broadcast of The Rush Limbaugh Show, saying, "[T]he Democrats have found their keynote speaker for their convention: Saddam Hussein."

How can this guys program be allowed on Armed Forces Radio?
