It's just the way it was taken. He's the only thing in the foreground and gets the biggest dose of light from the flash. The difference in lighting levels makes Mr. Black look like he's not part of the picture.

How about, instead of commenting on things national and international, where you can have little or no effect, you focus, however briefly, on PA concerns. I've been ignored when I've asked about this before, but can't you invest a tiny bit in troll prevention?

They're a perennial nuisance, and I don't even leave an e-mail for them to trace easily, but the whole Haloscan bare bones formatting at your site is sub-standard, given the site's relative importance, or at least popularity.

Have you looked into alternate formats? Are they so beyond your investment capacity? Or are you happy with things as they are?

Last time I mentioned this (in comments), you said something like "Sure Haloscan has its problems, but it works well enough usually." It has worse than problems and doesn't work well at all.

Please don't be as stubborn about Haloscan as W about his foreign policy.
