Utterly OT, but did anyone catch Capitol Gang? Novak stated that CBS should reveal where they got the memos. Al Hunt jumped on it, something like,
"Wait a minute, Bob, YOU'RE saying that CBS should reveal its' source?"
He had to repeat it before Novak realised what Hunt's point was. Novak's response was, "In THIS case they should reveal their source."

one of the least remarked-upon comments from bush 3 yrs ago to this day, is his comment "looks like we got a mini-war going on here." I have always thought the quality of that statement indicative of someone asking other for cues.

Kerry coming back quickly in Newsweek poll
There is a new poll out from Newsweek that is usable as it includes Registered voters and doesn't include Mr. Nader. Here's what they have to say:
In a two-way trial without the Nader ticket, among registered voters, Bush/Cheney are ahead of Kerry/Edwards 50 to 45 percent, with five percent of registered voters undecided. One week ago in the two-way race, Bush/Cheney were ahead of Kerry/Edwards 54 to 43 percent with three percent undecided [emphasis added].
