I'MMA LET YOU FINISH

yes

GravatarThat's hilarious.

Gravatarteh funnay!

GravatarThey should open it up to the Pickler too.

GravatarHeh! You sure it's a joke?

GravatarGawd, it smacks of versimilitude! If it isn't authentic, someones channeling skills are uncanny.

GravatarJust sent him a blog comment.

Gravatar"This blog is intended to be written for a PRIVATE audience."

I'm trying to figure whether this is a fake site, or real. The FL quips make it sound real, but how could Adam be so dumb that a URL using his own name would be private?

If it is real, it says (again) just how serious these serious journalists are (NOT).

One wonders if his editor is aware of his 'private' musings on work-related issues.

As Brad DeLong says: Why oh Why.....

GravatarPlease tell me that's parody.

GravatarUh - it's quite obviously fake.

Yet funny.

Sad that the only way we can attack media incompetence and whoredom is with humor.

GravatarThe blog has too much banging on the fact that it's "private." Definitely fake.

GravatarWay fake.

Everyone pick a journowhore and start posting!

GravatarOT: Fafnir hits one outta the park.

Gravatarbopnews has an interesting Adam item this AM.

Adam says he's going to write his debate coverage from his office in DC, and not attend the spin room because it is degrading for the spun and the spinners.

In the same column, Froomkin issues a challenge to the press to fact check and cover the issues, not the drama, and says he will looking at blogs to see what fact errors are uncovered.

GravatarOh, Nedra has already posted her comments. Shit, and I wanted to be her!

GravatarI wanted to be Judith Fucking Miller.

GravatarI want to be Gina Kolata. "If you like Gina Kolata/And write about science stuff ...."

GravatarLogan, Elisabeth Bumiller's still available.

A.

GravatarWhat a funny blug

GravatarMaybe I will be Charley Reese... oh, wait, I guess we want to be the lying press (SCLM types)... oh, I know... how about that jerk Mona Charen.

Gravatartee hee

GravatarGoverning With Fear

GravatarDefinitely fake, and brilliant! It feels like David Cross doing a parody of Adam Nagourney.

GravatarThere doesn't appear to be a robots.txt file on the site. If this blog was intended to be private, you would think the author would want to block search engines from listing it. Not sure about the META tags...

GravatarGeorge Bush has killed our irony and funny meters.

GravatarWe live in a golden age of satire.

Keep it coming. Comedy gets traction in the muddiest of quagmires.

GravatarIt's quite fake, but it's not immediately obvious, because it sounds like something that could be real. There are bloggers who are (ostensibly) professionals who really write that way.

GravatarStop being a bunch of nerdlings. It's a "fake," i.e. a satire, and I hope Nagourney and all of his enemies read it.

GravatarHysterical!

And the media whores shall be beaten down with satire and derision - Amen. (Franken 6:13)

GravatarIt's not terribly funny, but at least the targets are deserving.

On the other hand, I see a legal matter in the making. Using Nagourney's name as the URL and not including a parody disclaimer could cause problems of the "defamation" or "false light" variety. Luckily, the site seems to be strictly noncommercial, which offers significant protection.

GravatarSomeone did the same thing to Quentin Tarantino. Someone set up a fake blog, only it isn't funny. Just creepy, especially after the guy refused to call off the prank after Roger Avary
outed him
.

GravatarCorrection: Tarantino's own publicist called bullshit. And this was apparently a big blog story more than a month ago. Sorry for the redundancy...

Gravatarf*cking IE. Why, oh why can't I have Firefox at work?

GravatarFafblog is becoming my favorite blog... I mean, my second-favorite blog. (Hi, Atrios!)

GravatarFake, but WAYYY funny, while still maintaining the verisimillitude!

Er, sort of like the SCLM itself...

(I grabbed J. Blair while the gettin' was good!)

GravatarHilarious! Funny how easy it is to parody these people.

GravatarSeems like Wonkette thinks it's real - that in itself is funny:
Adam Nagourney

GravatarBest. Blog. Ever. Whoever is doing this is very smart. They should have their own TV show or something. Maybe its the same guy who does "Get Your War On"

GravatarSeems like Wonkette thinks it's real - that in itself is funny

Seems like you think Wonkette thinks it's real--that in itself is pretty funny, too!
