Strangely enough, I went to Target at lunch time. Found exactly what I was looking for (Several Xmas presents). Had a short wait in line, paid for the goods and was out of there in twenty minutes.
Excluding the packed parking lot, solved by simply going and parking at the end of a row, the only problem I had was the eventual near miss on my toes by a baby stroller.
I stay far away from Walmart and not for political purposes. I have never been happy in my shopping experiences there. Funny part, Sams Club is a marginally better experience. Biggest issue there is people get that stare going and they run into you. Similar to what I call the Casino Stare in Vegas. Sensory overload I guess.

I'm not saying some plan was approved from on high, but I will say that I suspect that the hijackers were not unknown to our intelligence services, and perhaps had ongoing relationships of some kind. Goddamn, I will never go into Wal-Mart again. That was it for me. I'm so disoriented right now from that experience, I almost walked into a wall. Fucking stupid people in there. Bitch in front of me acts like she's socializing at the club instead of purchasing her shit and getting the fuck on with her fat ass. That's one of my pet peeves. Don't hold up the line talking about stupid shit with the cashier. I almost said for her to shut the fuck up and get out of the way. I have before. I almost had a panic attack.
I can't take Wal-Mart. It's to fookin bright in there and shit's always falling off the high shelves. And I think everyone in there is at least partially lobotomized to believe that they need huge quantities of the cheapest stuff possible . . .

A corporate juggernaut offering Censored music, hackneyed Christian "inspirational" books on every endcap, quantity over quality, under-the-table hiring of desperately poor immigrants, sexual harrassment and discrimination of employees . . . and they way they seem to somehow offer the opposite of customer service.
