You mean GE(NBC), NEWSCORP(FOX), Viacom(CBS), Disney(ABC) - or Gannett(pick a couple hundred newspapers) - the only enterprise journalism being done by publicly traded corps are NYT, Wash Post, and WSJ. Two of those three are being squeezed by the cost of maintaining a quality newsroom - the Washington Post now makes most of its money from its education division.
