Waiting for her to weigh in with a similar "speculation" about Wolfie. Especially as, apparently, Wolfie's wife expressed such "speculative" concerns about her own husband.

We also know that most of "do gooder" groups that claim to be trying to spread democracy to the middle east have also been infiltrated by arabs who are double agents.
So, now our Deputy Sec of Defense is having an affair with an ARAB WOMAN who happens to have worked at a couple of those "do gooder" pro-democracy groups.

Sallyh |

It is easy for most people to assume that blinding love for their daughter drives the parents, who have begged Mr. Schiavo to give them his wife and walk away. But his motives are harder to fathom. Is it stubbornness that drives him, or fervor to commit fully to the other woman in his life, a girlfriend of eight years with whom he has two children? Does he want Ms. Schiavo to die because she is a burden, or because, as he says time and again, he promised her not to keep her alive by artificial means?
The truth may always be out of reach. But the history of Mr. Schiavo and the Schindlers, gleaned from court papers, interviews and their statements over the years, offers at least some insight into a war of clashing values, personalities and hopes.
Theirs is a battle over power, money and a woman they all claimed to love more than anything, born of perceived betrayal that grew more painful with each attack.
Even now, their visits to her deathbed are carefully orchestrated so as not to coincide, and they cannot agree on what to do with her remains after she dies.
"It's not a family issue anymore," Ms. Schiavo's younger brother, Bobby Schindler, said, adding that it had been years since the Schindlers considered Mr. Schiavo anything but a legal opponent. "All we've ever asked is that he give Terri back to us."

What bullshit. If he wants to commit fully to another woman, he could simply sign Terri over and walk away.
The only possible reason I can see for going through all this is because you made a promise, and couldn't live with yourself if you didn't live up to it.
If he was the negligent prick they're calling him, he could've washed his hands of Terri 15 years ago - or 10, or five - and saved himself a lot of grief (as well as the possible inconvenience of being murdered).

Anderson Cooper's show on CNN last night had a piece by correspondent Rudi Bakhtiar that included some interesting bits on Randall Terry's personal life. From the transcript (for readability i've fixed a couple obvious typos):
BAKHTIAR: His son Jamiel came out as gay in a magazine article.
JAMIEL TERRY, RANDALL TERRY'S SON: In my family, it was you start having sex outside of marriage you get AIDS, you're a whore, you're a slut, those are exact words. Yesterday he said to me I'm going to be at your funeral, you're going to die at 42.
BAKHTIAR: His teenage daughter Tila, said her father no longer welcomes her in his home.
TILA TERRY, RANDALL TERRY'S DAUGHTER: I had sex outside marriage, I got pregnant and I miscarried after about three or four months. I hadn't been speaking with my dad. We haven't been as close as you know we were since I left his house.
BAKHTIAR: His eldest, Ebony, also had two children out of wedlock and became a Muslim.
EBONY WHETSTONE, RANDALL TERRY'S DAUGHTER: It's a whole make of our family is not traditional, by far. So it's not going to be, you know, picture-perfect.
BAKHTIAR: And Randall Terry himself was censored by his church after he had an affair with an assistant. The family split.
It's not just nookie on the side -- she's working for someone.

"Is it stubbornness that drives him, or fervor to commit fully to the other woman in his life, a girlfriend of eight years with whom he has two children?"
Ad homin attack.
First, the money awarded for malpratice has been pretty much used up all for terri's care. Court records indicate that the records reviewed by the court are complete and every dollar accounted for. Also, it is known that Terri is being given free room and board, or something to that effect by the hospice. He's not doing it for the money.
Second, it wasn't until 2000 that he first began to start the process of ending Terri's life...that's 10 years after the coma. If he wanted to get rid of her then why did he wait so long?
Third, when Bush first got into Office, he started the process to change the bankruptcy laws. It's now the Law and any medical bills incurred by Terri are his to pay. He can't claim Chapter 11..he has to claim Chapter 13 and pay those bills. Remember, the malpratice money is just about gone. What makes anyone think that faced with mounting medical bills for an ill relation, the decision to terminate will be based on the cost of the bills incurred now? We're gonna see more terri's being put under to keep the family from going bankrupt.
And the list goes on.
I would appreciate whoever the poster was, please be more articulate with facts to back your post or stuck the fuck up.

Speaking of the Band, however,

it's a chronological history of
their stuff, put together by all

What I'm really hoping is on it
is stuff from the legendary pro-

It is my understanding they are now legally separated."
Not a situation I really care about, but I don't know of a "legally separated" status. Maybe there is one under some state's laws. But it's an archaic concept, at best.
Pointless, too, in this day of "no fault divorce." An interesting attempt to distance Wolfowitz from any appearance of "impropriety." Silly, but interesting.

Ya gotta love the fucking handwashing of the political class (from that New Yorker article above):
Another influence on Wolfowitz’s thinking is an Arab feminist named Shaha Ali Riza, with whom he has become close. Riza, who was born in Tunisia and reared in Saudi Arabia, studied international relations at Oxford and subsequently became a determined advocate of democracy and women’s rights in the Islamic world. She is now a senior official at the World Bank, where she works on Middle Eastern and North African affairs.
Just say it: HE'S FUCKING HER!!! Jesus fucking Christ, the games these pricks play...

Wolforat found some side action?
Let me guess- licking combs is a turn-on to her...
IOKIYAR
Affair with one of the liars who trumped up WMD evidence is okay? Certainly so.
As for Boosh senior and his affair- that damned thing makes Barbara the sasquatch look like something from baywatch.
By the way, Tripp was a Boosh plant, that she never was kicked out makes the entire Mena circle look that much worse.
How close was Iran-Contra to Bubba's bro? Boosh had that all over Pryor and Hucthinson(Asa, DoHS).
Anyways Jennifer Fitzgerald was probably real close to Marge Tutwiler. The James bakker/Tutwiler connection runs things. They're in weith the Sauds and halliburton far more, going back to the turn of the previous century...

Rumor is that Clare caught Paul in an act of "shock and awe" in his SAIS office.

For god's sake don't tell them! You'll never get them to sleep with those images in heads. I'm having enough trouble myself.

None of this would be happening if gays didn't want to destroy the sanctity of marriage, though. Remember that.
digby
digby,
remember it's the "gayness" of sex that riles up these guys: "I would warn Orlando that you're right in the way of some serious hurricanes and I don't think I'd be waving those [Gay Pride] flags in God's face if I were you."

and just so you know that I don't have to get scandalous or slanderous to make a point, check out these beauties (from our GOP nominee in 200:
"The feminist agenda is not about equal rights for women. It is about a socialist, anti-family political movement that encourages women to leave their husbands, kill their children, practice witchcraft, destroy capitalism, and become lesbians."
-- Pat Robertson, fundraising letter, 1992
"To see Americans become followers of Islam is nothing short of insanity.... The Islamic people, the Arabs, were the ones who captured Africans, put them in slavery, and sent them to America as slaves. Why would the people in America want to embrace the religion of slavers."

Digby's got a great post on this. He quotes Peggy Noonan's famous bit of "speculation" ("it would be irresponsible not to!") as to whether the Clenis was being blackmailed by a foreign power over Monica.
At least Bill didn't make Monica secretary of state.
And Monica was cute. Whereas Condi......eeeeeeeewwwwwwwwww!

This is pretty weak. Who cares if he is seperated, divorced, or cheating? Engaging in this sort of hearsay makes us no better than the Limbaughs of the world. And it's not as if Wolfowitz has been a point man on moral values to the extent where we could charge hypocrisy merely for him "maybe" having a mistress. Hey, I like the guy less than any of you, but this sort of gossip-mongering falls into the same category as my reasons for hating the Right's media machine. And for someone that writes for a media watchdog whose job it is to call out baseless shit like this it is doubly shameful.

Extraordinarily, they claim she played a key role in pushing the 61-year-old Pentagon official into the Iraq War. And the row comes amid claims that Wolfowitz's wife Clare once warned George Bush of the threat to national security any infidelity by her husband could cause.
to borrow a passage from HBO's Deadwood:
Al: Horror is you’re fucking right! He don’t know if it’s breathing or taking it in through fucking gills. He is that fucking cunt-struck. They’re afloat in some fairy fucking bubble, lighter than air—him, her snatch and his stupid fucking badge.

Robert Jeffers -
Wolfowitz and his wife were residing in Maryland. Maryland law has something called a "limited divorce" which is also sometimes called a legal separation. After you have been in a state of limited divorce for a period of time, you are entitled to a final divorce.
