In other words, democracy is nice — eventually — but the bigger issue is kicking over the status quo in the Middle East and forcing change. And the hawks would argue that this is happening. Slowly and fitfully, to be sure, but let's count up the successes so far: Iraq and Afghanistan are better off than before, Libya has given up its nuke program, Lebanon's Cedar Revolution is a sign of progress, Egypt has held a more open election than any before it, and the Syrian regime is under considerable pressure.
Did the invasion of Iraq precipitate these changes? I think the hawks considerably overstate their case, but at the same time they do have a case. Even if Iraq is a mess, it might all be worthwhile if it eventually produces progress toward a more open, more liberal Middle East. At the very least, it's an argument that needs to be engaged.

My father was a Waffen SS man during WWII and he came from Prussia - halfway between Danzig and Koenigsburg. He wasn't much of a Nazi though, just wanted to be patriotic. Not the point of your post, I know, but the answer to that one is easy. Near the equator, where the sunlight is very intense, protection from UV is the most important issue, so people make lots of melanin in their skin to block it out.

I feel sorry for those kids, I watch a report on them this week and was astounded by it all.

My family has lived in the same southern town since at least 1789, had members serve in every branch of the military and fight in every war since the revolution, and included both Baptist and Methodist ministers. You cannot wear a shirt that says, "White Pride." Because that would make you a racist. B) Immigration is out of control in this country. White birth rates keep going down, while the birth rates of non-whites keep skyrocketing. It's estimated that by the year 2050, whites will be the minority.
C) Affirmative action gives people points on tests in all kinds of fields BEFORE they even take the test. If you are black, you get points for your skin color. White people lose jobs, even though they may be more qualified for the position.
D) Rap music is rampant in our culture now. Much of it espouses drug use, the degradation of women, gang affiliations and violence against white people. It's on the radio, in films, on TV, in cartoons, in advertising. Your kids hear it all the time. Many white teens think it's cool and try to imitate gang bangers. They are imitating people who are rapping about killing them.
These are just a FEW of the issues that White Nationalism concerns itself with. I do not hate anyone. I do not worship Hitler. I do not like the Swastika and what it stands for. I simply want my culture and my heritage to stop being degraded and destroyed. I want the world to stop implying that white people must feel guilty FOREVER for events that took place long before they were born. I want my children to grow up in a world where they can be as proud of their heritage as any non-white person can be.

When I say white I mean of European descent. It matters not how the definition of white has changed. Today it means the people who are forbidden to have pride in their own heritage. Blacks, Hispanics, Jews and Asians are all encouraged to be prideful of their heritage. White people are taught to be ashamed of theirs.

I would say that YES, out of control immigration, especially the illegal immigration, is a negative thing for all of us. Or perhaps you are not concerned about employment rates or the cost of health insurance, things that are directly affected by the demands put on us by illegal immigrants.

It’s not beyond the realm of belief that whites will die out. Now just how can a people celebrate their culture and heritage when they don’t exist anymore? Or when their too busy trying to fight the forces that are driving them into non-existence? Genocide, which can occur in all different kinds of ways and at many levels, is always wrong. Somehow though, the world has made genocide a horrible thing for only non-white people. Whites are not to even consider their own race and what might be happening to it. We are supposed to pretend we don’t exist, until we don’t exist anymore. I love my children too much to watch their futures disappear before my eyes.

If this is your definition of democracy "working", you can keep it. I don't have to worry about being alone in wanting to take myself out of it. The number of people who are waking up to these things grows daily. And our numbers will continue to grow as society leans more and more toward discrimination against whites and things become less and less tolerable. Also, many people are realizing that you don't have to be a Nazi or a skinhead or a member of the KKK to be concerned about what is happening. I for one want nothing to do with any of those groups or their ideologies.

More equal for who? Diversity and multi-culturalism have meant nothing to white people except an extermination of their rights. Do you honestly think that when whites become a minority, affirmative action will apply to them? Do you think white children will benefit as a minority when gangster culture becomes the norm (and I'm not too sure that isn't happening right now.)

Really? When black people express Black Pride, is that not dividing people into black and non-black? Is that an inherently racist thing to do? How about Puerto Rican Pride? Why the double standard? Why do you not call black people racists for expressing the same exact thing we want to express as white people? Do you see what I'm saying here? Is is OKAY for anyone else to divide themselves from others in racist terms - they are APPLAUDED for doing so. The only group it is NOT okay for is whites.

No one argues that. The people who did those things have been dead for a long, long time. And yet somehow white people are to feel guilty FOREVER for what people did 200 and more years ago. My little boy, as a white person, should be seen as GUILTY for what people did hundreds of years ago.
This country was also built on the graves of people who killed each other in their own wars. The country was built by people who were enslaved by whites, and sold into slavery by their own black kinfolk. There is war and death and injustice on all sides. But no one holds blacks accountable for what their ancestors did in terms of slave trading. Only whites are to be held accountable, for all eternity.

No one has claimed here that European culture has brought nothing but love and sunshine. We have brought much misery and suffering. But MANY races have inflicted misery and suffering on others. The white people are the ONLY people who are expected to feel guilty without end. We are the only people who feel so guilty that we have allowed mass immigration into our countries, to our own disadvantage. Take a look at what's happening now in Great Britain.
Why is there no great mass of immigrants flowing into countries populated by non-whites? Why is there no worldwide criticism of countries who choose to keep their racial lines intact by essentially closing their borders to outsiders? Why aren't Chinese people criticized as being racist because they want to keep their country Chinese? Shouldn't diversity and multi-culturalism be good for everyone?

Affirmative action shouldn't be necessary at that point, since college admissions in general should have evened out.

I have not heard them put it in such terms. Even isolationists and racists in that culture are able to differentiate between themselves, and Europeans, and Latinos, and Asians. You seem to lack that ability.

They are good for everyone, but the point is that the United States, in its history and politics, has chosen to be open to almost anyone who wants to come and make a life here. That is one of the things that makes it so uniquely appealing to so many people, and one of its greatest strengths. Now, this country hasn't always treated those immigrants very well, and there have been a great number of problems from that... But: the progress toward equality has helped to make this country as good as it is, and will continue to improve it, in spite of people like yourself.
It's hardly perfect, but it's far better for all of us than an ostensibly "pure white" America.

Finally, nobody said you aren't allowed to have "white pride." I don't know why you feel compelled to wave your fake martyrdom around at everyone. You can be proud about being white, and I can be proud about not being a racist lunatic.
