Looks like threadbot went crazy too. There's still one below that doesn't have a comment on it. I think I'll go back and post so I can be before spinoza.

I don't know GWPDA, it seems this working stuff is playing tricks on your head. First all the shoes migrate to the bathroom, now all the legal envelopes have taken a hike. Until you started working you were my goddess of efficiency.
(Tena you are my goddess of practicality.)

The California special election next Tuesday looks like it will be an embarassment to the Governator. Three of his four so-called "reforms" (aka "power grabs") are going down, and the other is too close to call as of this morning.

So what do the Republicans have at this point?
Consider:
1. A war going badly
2. Inept response to natural disasters
3. Free spending of monumental proportions
4. A tax "plan" that proposes to take away the middle class' two main breaks
5. A war going very badly
6. A dead Social Security plan
7. A House majority leader under indictment
8. A Senate majority leader under investigation for insider trading
9. A top White House aide under indictment for perjuring himself about whether he revealed the name of a covert agent.
10 A second top White House aide under investigation for the same
I don't get it. What will the Republicans really be able to offer America in 2006? That they're not liberal?

Republicans will run on the immigration issue. Lookie! lookie! a republican fence to keep them out! Of course nobody will know or remember that they are the ones who are responsible for them coming in the first place. Didn't Bunnypants invite them to take jobs Americans won't? The only thing to keep them out is for the corporations and business to receive huge fines and punishment for hiring them but we can't do that now, can we?
