The U.S. Postal Service plans to eliminate house-by-house mail deliveries in newly built subdivisions and require developers to build central mail stations, officials said.
The rule has existed for a few years, but Russell Davis, Home Builders Association of Alabama vice president, said builders just became aware of the requirements this month.

Imagine the surprise of going online and discovering that the vitamin and mineral content of vegetables has drastically dropped.
That’s what happened to nutritionist, Alex Jack, when he went to check out the latest US Department of Agriculture food tables. The stunning revelation came after Jack compared recently published nutrient values with an old USDA handbook he had lying around. Some of the differences in vitamin and mineral content were enormous-a 50% drop in the amount of calcium in broccoli, for example. Watercress down 88% in iron content; cauliflower down 40% in vitamin C content-all since 1975.

Let us carry this one step further. There were 23 Senate votes against the war, only 4 of whom were on the Senate Select Intelligence Committee. If we add to that 23, the five Democrats (Bayh, Daschle, Edwards, Feinstein and Rockefeller), we have 28. It would have taken only 5 more to sustain a veto against the war. Let's see who was available among the pro-war votes. There were Hillary Clinton, John Kerry, Max Cleland (Yes, he voted for the war!), Christopher Dodd, Tom Harkin (Yes, he voted for the war!), Ernst Hollings, Harry Reid (now minority leader) and Charles Schumer. (That's 8, bringing the total to 36.) So those Dems cannot say their votes did not matter. They cannot claim we would have gone to war anyway. If they had been willing to filibuster against the war or filibuster to allow the inspectors to complete their work, there would have been no war. These are Dems on whom progressives rely. They betrayed us, and they have blood on their hands since it was in their power to stop the war. But their ambitions came first. (Chuck Hagel who now professes to be anti-war and John McCain who wears his "integrity" on his sleeve would have made two excellent additions among the Republicans.)
Finally it is worth recalling that the Democrats were in the majority in the Senate at the time the war vote was taken on October, 11, 2002. So this is every bit as much a Democratic war as a Republican one.

Not really you better read the Walsh link.
"Part of the answer arrived in another op-ed the Washington Post one week later, November 20, 2005, by another former Senator, Bob Graham, entitled: "What I knew Before the Invasion." Like Edwards, Graham was a member, in fact the chair, of the Senate Select Intelligence Committee in the period leading up to the war and on October 11, 2002 when the vote on the war on Iraq was taken. In a nutshell, Graham tells us that everyone on that committee knew that Bush was lying about weapons of mass destruction. Graham begins like a good, loyal Democrat, telling us that his colleagues were deceived, at least "most" of them. But he then tells us that the Senate Select Intelligence Committee knew better. Here are some of Graham's words:"

I agree. McCarthy had an abundance of principle and integrity and intelligence, traits which the vast majority of Democrats are sorely lacking today. Iraq, like Vietnam, is sinking waist deep into The Big Muddy and all the while the Democrats cannot see the forest for the trees, that Bush's mantra of "Stay and Die" is not working and will never work so long as the United States continues to occupy Iraq. McCarthy recognized that about Vietnam. When will the Democrats do the same about Iraq?

Am i the only one that has realized the cost of the Pentagon operation to plant positive news in Iraqi media is the fact that now no Iraqi person will believe ANY positive news in their media - even the unplanted?
That's a cost of 5+ years of Bushco right there- the fact that we have now come to expect....make that "have been Pavlov conditioned".... that every official announcement is a lie, every cause is suspect, every program or initiative only exists to enrich campaign-contributing corporations, and every bit of good news is someone's spin-doctoring.

WASHINGTON (AP) - People who sought refuge outside the 10 states that absorbed most of the evacuees from Hurricanes Rita and Katrina can remain in hotels at the government's expense while their applications for rental assistance are processed, officials announced Saturday.
The Federal Emergency Management Agency continues to pick up the tab for an estimated 42,000 hotel rooms in 47 states and the District of Columbia. In the 10 states that took in most of the homeless evacuees, FEMA recently pledged to continue paying their hotel bills until Jan. 7, after its previous Dec. 1 deadline was met with widespread criticism.

Clinton is a horrible hawk.Or stuoid http://www.commondreams.org/view...s03/0605-
07.htm
Hillary Clinton's determination to remain in the cautious, unquestioning center was very much on display last fall, when the Bush administration came to Congress seeking a blank check to wage an unnecessary and unjustified war with Iraq. While other senators expressed concern over the failure of the Bush administration to make a credible case that Iraq posed a serious threat, Clinton bought the White House line.
"I will take the president at his word that he will try hard to pass a U.N. resolution and will seek to avoid war, if at all possible," she declared.
Twenty-three more skeptical senators chose not to take the president at his word. Among them were Bob Graham, D-Fla., who then chaired the Senate Intelligence Committee, and Carl Levin, D-Mich., the ranking Democrat on the Senate Armed Services Committee. While Clinton was praising the president's pronouncements, the skeptics voted "no."

Capitol Hill Blue is reporting one of the more disturbing things I have heard from the Immoral Moron. If this can be verified, it clearly deserves really wide dissemination among military, ex-military, and really, any real patriotic citizens.
“I don’t give a goddamn,” Bush retorted. “I’m the President and the Commander-in-Chief. Do it my way.”
“Mr. President,” one aide in the meeting said. “There is a valid case that the provisions in this law undermine the Constitution.”
“Stop throwing the Constitution in my face,” Bush screamed back. “It’s just a goddamned piece of paper!”
I’ve talked to three people present for the meeting that day and they all confirm that the President of the United States called the Constitution “a goddamned piece of paper.”

Family Upset Over Marine's Body Arriving As Freight
Marine Bodies Sent To Families On Commercial Airliners
POSTED: 4:46 pm PST December 9, 2005
UPDATED: 6:20 pm PST December 9, 2005
SAN DIEGO -- There's controversy over how the military is transporting the bodies of service members killed overseas, 10News reported.
A local family said fallen soldiers and Marines deserve better and that one would think our war heroes are being transported with dignity, care and respect. It said one would think upon arrival in their hometowns they are greeted with honor. But unfortunately, the family said that is just not the case.
Dead heroes are supposed to come home with their coffins draped with the American flag -- greeted by a color guard.
But in reality, many are arriving as freight on commercial airliners -- stuffed in the belly of a plane with suitcases and other cargo.
John Holley and his wife, Stacey, were stunned when they found out the body of their only child, Matthew, who died in Iraq last month, would be arriving at Lindbergh Field as freight.
"When someone dies in combat, they need to give them due respect they deserve for (the) sacrifice they made," said John Holley.
John and Stacey Holley, who were both in the Army, made some calls, and with the help of U.S. Sen. Barbara Boxer, Matthew was greeted with honor and respect.
"Our familiarity with military protocol and things of that sort allowed us to kind of put our foot down -- we're not sure other parents have that same knowledge," said Stacey Holley.
The Holleys now want to make sure every fallen hero gets the proper welcome.
The bodies of dead service members arrive at Dover Air Force Base.
From that point, they are sent to their families on commercial airliners.
Reporters from 10News called the Defense Department for an explanation. A representative said she did not know why this is happening.
Cspan is playing oral argument on the case Rumsfeld v. Fair. Thomas hasn't said a word.

And we should assiduously maintain that as part of our "brand", and one of the things that makes us different from Republicans/conservatives.
Eli
First of all there seems to be a bit of confusion. You are not dealing with traditional conservatives. Small government proindividual rights conservatives are gone.
Secondly Democrats are not liberals. Sure many are more liberal than Republicans. But in the end they still wind holding their noses to vote.

Iraq Set to Pump Less Oil Than Last Year
Despite President Bush's optimism on Iraq's reconstruction, the country appears set to pump less crude in 2005 than last year's disappointing showing and far less than under Saddam Hussein.
...attacks [on infrastructure] have made it all but impossible to attract foreign expertise needed to rejuvenate Iraq's rusty oil infrastructure, drill new wells or take any number of steps toward increasing production or exports.

"but id still like to hear kerry, and clinton, and biden etc. just admit yes they supported bush and boy were they wrong, 'moral authority' or not."
at least in Kerry's case, i really don't accept that.
i think the problem is that good people like kerry and the United Nations Security Council had not been able to recognize that all morality had left the White House.
If one attacks Kerry, one also must attack Germany, France, China, Russia as well.
Kerry's own words at the time were clearly pained... he knew that there was great risk to voting yes to the resolution vote, but, like the UN Security Council, he was still hopeful that was could be averted.
He may have been wrong and perhaps stupid, but i can't condemn him.

Cynicus, you are being, well, too cynical about the mainstream dailys and not really cynical enough about a place run by some guy. Can you trust everything you read in the NY Times? the Washington Post? the Peoria Plain Dealer? No.
Is everything the CHB publishes automatically and necesarrily false? No.
But when you've got someone in an editorial capacity talking about what people told him that someone said, I don't tend to lend it credibility. Especially when it's the kind of story that fits all to snuggly with my own biases. If there are indeed people telling that guy these things, there has to be a reason why they are going through a publication like CHB that has absolutely no credibility.

It seems like only yesterday that Hillary was championing the rights of the Afghani woman and justifying the invasion of Afghanistan to help their status. What happened to THAT Hillary and what happened to the Afghani women? Has anyone been monitoring their liberation?
Has "Hillary the Hawk" looked lately at the women in Iraq? What has the Corporate Agenda done for them? Look at Africa where women and children are starving as a result of this Corporate Agenda. Are you aware, Mrs. C? Do you care, Mrs. C?
A master gymnast, Hillary has flip-flopped on the Israeli/Palestinian question.
Isn't this the same woman who, as First Lady, supported Palestinian statehood and hugged Yasir Arafat's wife? Isn't this the same woman who made a violently anti-Israel speech and had been known to call Clinton campaign workers efing Jew-bastards? http://www.theconservativevoice.....html?
id=10059#
I guess Mrs. Clinton realized that such behavior was not in the best interest of a candidate for Senator of New York State. It certainly is not the proper strategy with which to capture the Presidency in 2008. And so, Hillary embarked on a trip to Israel (with no stop in Palestine) to visit and praise the "separation barrier" being built along the edge of the West Bank. Separation barrier? Is that what you call a 30 ft high solid wall with electronic fences? It's more like a Warsaw Ghetto, Mrs. C. Observe the service road and another fence and a 13 ft deep trench. There's a special road for armed personnel, and you can imagine what their duties are. A "separation barrier" sounds like something I fashioned to create a dining area.
While she was in Israel, Mrs. Clinton praised Ariel Sharon's work for peace. PEACE? Is that why they call him "the Butcher of Lebanon"? Was he handing out beef briskets to the hungry Lebanese? What about the killing of the Palestinian refugees at Sabra and Shatila camps in Lebanon under Sharon's watch? UN Resolution 194 guarantees all Palestinian refugees the right to return, and yet, Ariel Sharon refuses to implement this resolution. In addition, "the butcher" has turned a deaf ear on countless other resolutions denouncing the Zionist occupation of Palestine. Mrs. Clinton, you are starting to make George Bush sound good.
Let's travel back in time to the year 1991. Remember when four members of the New York Hasidic community of New Square were convicted of starting a fake religious school with 1,500 fake students and embezzling $40 million in federal Pell grants, which they then funneled back in to the New Square community? I remember this well, since New Square is only about 25 minutes from where I live.

In August of 2000, Hillary visited the New Square Hasidic community where she met privately with community leader, Rabbi David Twersky. Nobody knows for sure what was discussed in the meeting. Perhaps she was interested in converting.
Heading into the 2000 Senate campaign, most New York Hasidic communities were supportive of Rick Lazio. It was expected that the New Square vote, which was traditionally conservative, would vote for Lazio by as much as 90%. Two Hasidic communities near New Square went for Lazio 3,500 to 150. However, New Square shocked everyone, by voting for Hillary 1,359 to 10. Imagine that !!!!! Hillary got 99% of the vote. In December 2000, just a month after Hillary took New Square by 99%, Bill and Hillary met with community leaders from New Square in the White House Map Room where they discussed pardons for the four New Square embezzlers. You are a religious woman, Mrs. Clinton, giving those "men of God" a break !!!!
And, speaking of a "religious" woman, in January of this year, an article by Francis Harris appeared in the Telegraph. It was entitled "Gasps As Hillary Woos The Anti-Abortion Vote."
It seems that ole Hillary made an appeal to right wing religious groups. She said that she sought common ground on abortion and described herself as a praying person (preying?) She praised religious groups which have run chastity campaigns for young people and backed W's Faith Based Initiatives. Perhaps Mrs. Clinton had had an encounter on the Road to Damascus.
Recently, "Peace Mom" Cindy Sheehan urged her fellow/gal Democrats not to support "pro-war Democrat" Hillary Clinton for president, saying "she sounds like conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh in her support for U.S. efforts in Iraq."
Citing Hillary's comments to the Village Voice that a pullout would mean U.S. troops had died in vain, Sheehan complained:
"That sounds like Rush Limbaugh to me. That doesn't sound like an opposition party leader speaking to me. What Sen. Clinton said after our meeting sounds exactly like the Republican Party talking points I heard from Senators Dole and McCain."
Tony Blair is planning a controversial U-turn on cannabis laws and the reintroduction of tough penalties after an official government review found a definitive link between use of the drug and mental illness.
The Independent on Sunday can reveal that the Advisory Council on the Misuse of Drugs (ACMD) has detailed evidence showing cannabis triggers psychosis in regular users. The findings are expected be used by Mr Blair to overturn the decision made two years ago to downgrade the drug. The reports makes it "an open door" for ministers to change the law, according to one official.

On 10 January 1975, Michelle Bachelet, a 23-year-old medical student in Chile, was arrested with her mother by General Augusto Pinochet's secret police. The pair survived three weeks of torture, but Ms Bachelet's father, arrested earlier, did not.
This weekend Ms Bachelet, now 54, could become the first elected female president of a South American nation. Gen Pinochet is now the one under arrest, on multiple charges of rights abuses and corruption.
The former paediatrician was 24 points ahead going into today's presidential election in Chile, and if shedoes not win outright, she will be the favourite for the run-off vote.

OSLO (AFP) - The head of the UN nuclear watchdog agency Mohamed ElBaradei received the 2005 Nobel Peace Prize and called for a world free of atomic weapons, saying existing nuclear states should lead by example.
"If we hope to escape self-destruction, then nuclear weapons should have no place in our collective conscience, and no role in our security," ElBaradei said in his acceptance speech at a ceremony in Oslo's City Hall.
"We must ensure, absolutely, that no more countries acquire nuclear weapons: that nuclear weapon states take concrete steps towards nuclear disarmament; and we must put in place a security system that does not rely on nuclear deterrence," he added.

Look out of your windows, watch the skies
Read all the instructions with bright blue eyes
Were W.A.S.P.s, proud American sons
We know how to clean our teeth and how to strip down a gun
We're the 51st state of America
Our star-spangled Union Jack flutters so proud
Over the dancing heads of the merry patriotic crowd
Tip your hat to the Yankee conqueror
We've got no reds under the bed with guns under our pillows
We're the 51st state of America
Here in the land of opportunity
Watch US revel in our liberty
You can say what you like
But it doesn't change anything
'Cos the corridors of power
Are an ocean away
We're the 51st state of America

Truth as dying concept?

Truth only exists among working people. the rich create their own truths.

With less than a week to go until Britain chairs a European summit in Brussels, the prime minister rejected France's key demand that subsidies should be left untouched for the next eight years.

Wolcott has a very good post up that points out the Left-Right, Red-Blue, humanist-Fundemenatalist division in our country. The big money boys of the Rightwing think the shooting of a mentally ill airline passengr is a big "buy" indicator (with a miley face and three thumbs up) for US airlines cause it makes people feel more secure. A police officer trying to stop a burglary in a neighbor's home was fatally wounded in a gun battle in the Bronx early yesterday, but continued to return fire and wounded two suspects who were captured by arriving officers as they stumbled away bleeding, the police said.
The slain officer, Daniel Enchautegui, 28, was the second city police officer to die in the line of duty this year, and, as with the first, less than two weeks ago, the police said he had stayed in the fight despite a mortal wound near his heart, to aid in the capture of his assailants.
The suspects - Steven Armento, 48, a burglar with three convictions and a history of violence, and Lillo Brancato Jr., 29, an actor who has appeared in "The Sopranos" and in "A Bronx Tale" with Robert De Niro and a dozen later films - were felled by multiple wounds in a gunfight that shattered the peace of residential street before dawn

The White House was forced into a U-turn on climate change yesterday after appearing to misjudge critically the international and domestic mood on its efforts to tackle global warming.
After American delegates walked out of the United Nations climate change conference in Montreal over the wording of a draft statement calling for international co-operation on the issue, they signed a revised version after making only 'trivial' changes.
The move came as 157 other countries agreed separately to extend the Kyoto international agreement aimed at reducing greenhouse gas emissions. The US has not joined Kyoto, so it was not involved in the talks on its future.

Hi Moonbats:
OT ~
I am going through a spiritual watershed.
Does anyone have any books or any suggestions (such as courses, etc.) of how I may optimize my awareness?
Any and all thoughts are appreciated. E-mail me at VickiStein@aol.com or moonbatmi@yahoo.com. Particularly, I seem to be stuck in a rut with my job and with relationships. Looking to read or study with someone who knows how to break the chain.
I want to break the chain.

INDIA is set to make its presence felt at its talks with Asean leaders in Kuala Lumpur beginning tomorrow.
And with its status as one of the world’s growing economic powers, trade would undoubtedly top the agenda.
It is thus not surprising that one of the main issues at the Asean-India Summit on Tuesday will be the finalising of the Free Trade Agreement.
The agreement would boost trade and economic relations between India and Asean, said Indian High Commissioner to Malaysia R.L. Narayan.
He said India was also turning towards Asean due to the dynamism of the regional grouping market economy.

Okay -- I can add that to your cart, too. The reason I say the WiFi finder is relatively useless is because it only detects 2.4GHz radio signals -- all of which are not 802.11 networks. Concrete Blonde? Still in Hollywood!
I was walking down the street early this morning
Past the graveyard, voices whisper to me.
I was walking down the street, early this morning
And the silver tears of rain hung from the leaves
And I swear I heard the voices singing to me...
Singing to the rhythm of the beat of my feet,
I swear I heard the voices singing to me -
Keep on, keep on, keep on.
Still in hollywood!
Oh wow! thought I’d be out of here by now.
Still in hollywood!
My, my I’m running on a wheel and I don’t know why
I don’t know why.
And on the bus today, I met the queen of l.a. -
At least she said she was and who am I to say?
She was sixty-five and full of life,
She had purple-painted cheeks
And glitter on her eyes
And the troll on the corner, I flipped him a quarter
And he looked at me and smiled.
He wasn’t abused, he wasn’t confused,
He had nothing to gain and less to lose in hollywood
Oh wow! thought I’d be out of here by now.
Still in hollywood!
My, my I’m running like a rat and I don’t know why
And so it’s three a.m., I’m out walking again.
I’m just a spot on the sidewalk in a city of sin.
He doesn’t give a fuck, he’s living under a truck.
You know it coulda been me, guess it’s just my luck.
But I swear I hear the voices singing to me -
Keep on, keep on, keep on.
I just got back from seeing the Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.

President Bush suggested Friday that history will vindicate his decision to invade Iraq, saying he believed that a half century from now, it will be regarded as important a transition for the world as the democratization of Japan was after World War II.
"I'm absolutely convinced that some day, 50 or 60 years from now, an American president will be speaking to an audience saying, 'Thank goodness a generation of Americans rose to the challenge and helped people be liberated from tyranny,' " Mr. Bush said. " 'Democracy spread and the world is more peaceful for it.' "
. . . Many outside experts and even some of Mr. Bush's own aides question his reliance on the comparison, noting that Japan was a unified state before World War II, but that Iraq has always been divided along religious and regional lines.
"It may sound too simple, but this is a comparison the president believes in deeply," one of his senior aides said when Mr. Bush was in Asia, declining to be quoted by name in discussing the president's thinking. "It's the argument he knows his presidency will be judged by

vicki, if that cosmology's the one that satisfies ya, at least eschew the 'gospels' and look at the gnostic texts...
or you could lock yourself in a room with the complete works of English romanticism...
or a compendium of Goethe (and you'd emerge with the additional gif of being able to read german...)
the bhagavad gita and the sutras...
point is, anything into which you can find space in which to immerse yourself--a discourse in which you feel comfortable--will likely (hopefully) yield a samsara moment (in the historical sense): a transformation/rebirth...

Climate campaigners claim greatest ever success at Montreal
Humiliation for Bush as last-minute twist means an isolated US is forced to sign up for future talks on global warming
By Andrew Buncombe in Montreal and Geoffrey Lean
Published: 11 December 2005
The fight against catastrophic global warming scored its greatest success to date yesterday, when negotiators from more than 180 nations unexpectedly agreed to develop far-reaching measures to combat climate change.
In the process, the delegates to the climate summit in Montreal dealt a humiliating blow to President George Bush's five-year attempt to destroy the Kyoto Protocol. The United States, which tried to sabotage the meeting at the last minute by walking out of the negotiations, was forced to join the agreement after failing to persuade a single nation to join it.
Many delegates - including Margaret Beckett, the UK's Secretary of State for the Environment - were openly in tears when agreement was finally reached yesterday morning after two successive all-night sessions and as many dramas and cliff-hangers as a second-rate soap opera.
Mrs Beckett told The Independent on Sunday that it represented an even greater breakthrough than the original agreement of the Kyoto Protocol almost exactly eight years ago. Environmentalists hailed the agreement - which exceeded the most optimistic expectations - as "historic".
The agreement marks the culmination of a remarkable year for the world's attempts to bring global warming under control before it is too late. Not much more than a year ago, the Kyoto Protocol had yet to come into force, many leading commentators were writing its obituary, and the US administration was blocking any attempts even to talk about future negotiations.
Then Russia - the key hold-out - ratified the protocol, enabling it to come into force in February, and Tony Blair made climate change one of the top priorities of Britain's presidencies of the EU and the G8 group of industrialised nations this year. At the G8 Gleneagles summit this summer President Bush had to agree to further talks.
Yesterday's agreement - far from burying the Kyoto Protocol as the US wanted - has confirmed it and extended it. The 39 nations governed by it - all the industrialised countries apart from the US and Australia - have agreed in principle to make deeper cuts in the pollution emissions causing climate change when their present clean-up commitments run out in 2012.
They have decided to agree the new cuts by 2008, far faster than expected.
Meanwhile the US has, against its will, had to agree to talks with both rich and developing countries to new measures that all nations can take on combating the threat. The resolution is vague and the talks are only "open and non-binding", but it is far more than the US wanted or most people expected.
The atmosphere at the Montreal meeting was far more determined to reach agreement than either the US or its bitterest critics had expected, following a yea

President Bush suggested Friday that history will vindicate his decision to invade Iraq, saying he believed that a half century from now, it will be regarded as important a transition for the world as the democratization of Japan was after World War II.
He may be right about it being important. Unfortunately, the transition they might be talking about in 50 years is the decline of US from super power to a has-been nation that threw away it's prestige, moral authority, military power and its economic wealth and stability.
50 years from now, this country may have a new name, a Chinese one, which will translate to "servile debtor nation".

Karin: I see Curly! I've been missing him since ModBlog disappeared.
Glad to be of service! I bought a still digicam from Dell just so's I could do that kind of thang. I felt guilty about not having time or webspace for weekly videos anymore... although those will also be in the offing, as well. Just not weekly.
Do you know that song that goes-
"You come home late and you come home early
You come on big when you're feeling small
You come home straight and you come home curly
Sometimes you don't come home at all"
No, but I'm not surprised -- I am woefully inadequate where pop culture after the mid-'80s is concerned.

surprisingly, wittgenstein said something similar about the same topic (albeit wordier):
4.121 ...Propositions show the logical form of reality. They display it.
4.1212 What can be shown, cannot be said.
4.5 ...The general form of a proposition is: This is how things stand.
5.43 ...all the propositions of logic say the same thing, to wit nothing.
5.4711 To give the essence of a proposition means to give the essence of all description, and thus the essence of the world. 5.6 The limits of my language mean the limits of my world.
or as krishnamurti would say "all thought is limited" or as my more cynical buddy would say "yeah, but some thought is more limited than others"
and we have a president that proves his cynicism. we don't know what pres. fuckwits great adventure will look like in 50 years, and he is so deluded he doesn't even care. he can fantasize ,after all he'll be dead.

I don't know how great France is... no worse than a lot of countries, I guess. I don't figure they have to roll over & do what we want just because we say so. After all, that's why we helped them in the world wars. Someday, with a little luck, a soverign Iraqi government will officially make it policy to tell us to fuck off.
I understand the French are *very* consciencious in maintaining the cemetaries where Americans who died in WWI & II are buried, and they also worked very hard (as recently as the late '90s, if memory serves) to track down surviving WWI vets here and honor them.

Yes, the irony of the Francophobe fundamentalists....this country that was daughter of the Church, where Irenaus made the case for the four pillared gospel a couple of centuries before canonization, where Chartres still stands as testament to egoless purpose, the work of thousands of nameless artisans....France gave them their templates..John Law(Alan Greenspan) which leads unto Robespierre(George W. I find it friggin' hilarious that these trollbots refuse ever to discuss an idea. Their own concern is winning vs. losing, and the thought that a more valid or honest or desirable idea or outcome usually takes time to win a majority never makes it into their pointy little heads. Now when Jesus heard these things, he said unto him, Yet lackest thou one thing: sell all that thou hast, and distribute unto the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, follow me.
THE RICH YOUNG MAN from Matthew 19:16-19:25
Now someone approached him and said, "Teacher, what good must I do to gain eternal life?" He answered him, "Why do you ask me about the good? There is only One who is good. If you wish to enter into life, keep the commandments." He asked him, "Which ones?" And Jesus replied,"You shall not kill, you shall not commit adultery, you shall not steal, you shall not bear false witness; honor your father and your mother'; and 'you shall love your neighbor as yourself.'" The young man said to him, "ALL OF THESE I HAVE OBSERVED. WHAT DO I STILL LACK?" Jesus said to him, "If you widh to be perfect, go, sell what you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me."
When the young man heard this statement, he went away sad, for he had many possessions. Then Jesus said to his disciples, "AMEN, I SAY TO YOU,IT WILL BE HARD FOR ONE WHO IS RICH TO ENTER THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN. AGAIN I SAY TO YOU, IT IS EASIER FOR A CAMEL TO PASS THROUGH THE EYE OF A NEEDLE THAN FOR ONE WHO IS RICHE TO ENTER THE KINGDOM OF GOD."
Fred...Jesus said it twice, 'specially for retards like you.
