2007 is more likely. Elections aren't until November. Until we have a Dem majority in at least one house, and hopefully two, it's very unlikely to happen.
I expect gas prices will plummet in Sept. of 06 as Bush's friends try to help him out. Hiring will be up as well, although those jobs won't last past xmas 06.

Some history: "...inside, Jack was steaming. Apollo was ending, but there were still 27 years left in the century and he hated the thought of an American President telling a whole generation that they would have no chance to do their own lunar exploration. But there was nothing Jack could do but suppress his anger and, in the meantime, there was some more exploration that he and the others could do before they headed home. ...By now, Challenger had almost completed its mission. The rocks and the helmets and gloves were all safely aboard America and, indeed, the Command Module was so full of rocks and astronauts that the only way they were going to get a little elbow room was to get rid of a jettison bag that Ron had been filling for the last three days. Consequently, just before they closed the LM hatch for the last time, the astronauts tossed the bulging jett bag into the now empty cabin of the LM. Challenger had one last mission to accomplish. She was headed back down to the Moon for a planned impact on the eastern flank of the South Massif, a final sacrifice to the gods of seismology; and, as Challenger made her last trip down to the lunar surface. She also had the unglamorous - but necessary - job of carrying the trash."

About impeachment: I doubt the House Dems will bother bringing Articles unless they have a sense the Senate would vote to impeach. Otherwise, it'd just be political showmanship, and the Rs would point that out, and the Ds would run screaming back to their bedrooms and pull the covers up.
I, on the other hand, would vote to impeach just to educate the public on the way to seeing it go down in the Senate.

The British embassy in Jordan has said it will close "until further notice" after warning travellers of the threat of new terrorist attacks on Western targets in the kingdom.
Saturday's announcement came two months after bombings against three luxury hotels in the capital Amman that killed 60 people plus three bombers and wounded about 100 more.
"Terrorists may be in the final stages of planning attacks against Westerners and places frequented by Westerners," the embassy said in an update posted on its website.

Do you have a virus scanner? sometimes a windows virus will try to infect your computer- it can't do it, but it does try, slowing your machine down.
Run a scan and delete any extraneous stuff. That should help.
Also, clear your browser cache regularly, that will speed things up.

I think it's time to send some of our repuke losers boxes of tissue, to dry their eyes, what with all their whining and crying that their Preznit can't just take the law into his own hands. It would be bad enough if he had either a brain or some morals, but this fuckwit has neither, and has tainted the office with a foul stench. They're going down, one by one, and each one that falls knocks another down, like dominoes. It was unavoidable; the U.S. can't keep stealing other's resources and polluting the whole world without consequences.

Unless the GOP Congress grows a set of balls, there will be no impeachment hearings until after a Dem takeover of Congress in the November elections.
A GOP congress starting impeachment hearings would be less a case of growing a set of balls than rats leaving a sinking ship. At the moment, it's a rather remote possibility, but if a shitload of Bush administration officials get implicated as part of the Abramoff scandal and a bunch of other stuff comes to light in the next few months (say, for example, proof that Bush really was illegally spying on journalists and political opponents) then the impeachment momentum might become too difficult for them to stop without tainting themselves in the process.

Need your experience & opinion: Online political news survey! ($10 reward possible)
Hello!
My name is Daekyung (danny) Kim, a Ph.D. student studying journalism and mass communication in Southern Illinois University at Carbondale. I am emailing to ask you to do me a favor. I am now working on my dissertation whose topic is about online political news and want to gather information about how and why Internet users are using news Web sites for political information based on an online survey.
This online survey will approximately take 15-20 minutes to complete. After collecting the data, I will draw to pick up 50 respondents among those who complete this survey and each will be given $ 10 gift card.
Would you please spend some time to fill out this survey? http://www.surveymonkey.com/s.as...?
u=594061481532
(please click on the address, OR if not working, copy it into the URL address)
Your experience will be very useful in understanding how politically interested online users are using online news and the consequent effect on traditional news media.
You can withdraw the survey at any time you want. All responses will be kept confidential and only be used for academic purposes. This survey has been reviewed and approved by the SIUC Human Subject Committee. So, there are no questions that may identify personal information.
Thank you very much in advance for your cooperation. Please email me back if you have further concerns or questions. Happy New Year!!
