I'd say that pretty much the only circumstances under which I would approve of troll-baiting is if they're on a buried thread. Seemed to me, though, that on that last thread Gordo was long gone and people were still boiling around his turds like angry ants.

Yeah, I guess I'd better get cracking too. All those cardboard boxes from CHristmans are not going to break down and bundle themselves. And the weeds -- oy. At least in Michigan the winter comes and kills all the bad plants. Here, the rain just makes them grow all the more....

As 30-year journalist, let me observe that the back-and-fill by Katie and Matt and the Today Show producers on calling the Abramoff scandal bipartisan reminds me more of my kids when they were in grade school than a professional in the news business. If you get it wrong, that is not good, but not as big a deal as trying to justify an error with weasel words.
You are professionals, you should rise to the challenge.
An honest observer would say "Abramoff directed money to Republicans and away from Democrats, although some of his clients continued to donate to Democrats anyway."
