I fail to see why the Presidents actions are worthy of such hate. Based on the information provided in the article they found "fewer than 10 suspects a year worthy of follow up". So, we need 50 Mohammad Atta's before it becomes a big deal? I think it is admirable that the President is trying to protect us from the head choppers. If we find out that the President's interpretation of the law was incorrect, we will pass some new laws and proceed with the intelligence gathering. Talk to a few Armenians if you think Muslim aggression is driven only by "American Imperialism". Look at what is happing to Denmark over some cartoons, for Christs sake! Mathematically correct. However, accidental death doesn't impact our country the same way a terrorist bombing does. Even if we treated 9/11 as a solely criminal act and did nothing overseas because the criminals were all dead, our lives would have been forever changed for the worse that day. That is the nature of terrorism. Terrorism is not just about death, it is death to serve some evil purpose. Terrorism is death to create headlines, to make you forever look over your shoulder in fear. I have a son who guards our local airport in body armor carrying a pistol. In the old days when there was an accident such men and women ran quickly to give aid. Now they must pause to see if the accident is a diversion, to see if the explosion was set to attract aid workers so a bigger bomb could be set off.
