And not only did brownie take coleman down several pegs, but coleman unwittingly buried bush deeper. Coleman pointed out that the entire public was watching this on tv, where was brownie? Same question could be asked of bush and MCCAIN, who were partying even on Tues. Brownie called the crawford dive on Mon AM and PM to tell them about the breech.

Big damn article on the 2d page of the Dallas paper this morning in which Gov Goodhair puts as much space between himself and the GOP as he possibly can as a Repug. Prosecutors: Jury's Morales Letters Faked
By DAVID KRAVETS
SAN FRANCISCO (AP) - Lawyers for a death row inmate, including former Whitewater independent counsel Kenneth Starr, sent fake letters from jurors asking California's governor to spare the man's life, prosecutors said Friday.
The jurors denied they thought Michael Morales deserved clemency because some of the testimony at his trial may have been fabricated, said Nathan Barankin, spokesman for Attorney General Bill Lockyer.
``We showed each person the declaration on their behalf and they all said they didn't say that,'' Barankin said.
San Joaquin County prosecutor Charles Schultz also said the letters sent to Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger last week were ``untrue'' and ``pure fiction.''
Starr was not immediately available for comment, said a spokeswoman for the Pepperdine School of Law, where Starr is the dean.
Morales' other clemency attorney, David Senior from Los Angeles, said he stood by the validity of the six sworn statements he and Starr sent to the governor. He suggested that the jurors might have gotten cold feet when they were contacted by prosecutors in the last two days.

And after a while, you can work on points for style
Like the club tie, and the firm handshake
A certain look in the eye and an easy smile
You have to be trusted by the people that you lie to
So that when they turn their backs on you
You'll get the chance to put the knife in
So is he going the way of most conservatives and having his government fall within a year?
Attaturk
Maybe... it's going to depend. If the majority of Conservatives support this bill then we may let them stay in until next year.
What I think it will do is open a rift between the remaining PCs and the old Reform.

News from New Mexico: Bingaman has a primary opponent!
We are off to a great start putting Robert C Marshall in the Democratic primary
as an alternative choice for U.S. Senator. There are many citizens of New
Mexico who recognize that the only thing that will persuade our
"representatives" to listen to us is if they are challenged when they won't. A positive debate on the issues will only strengthen the base and INCREASE
prospects in the general election itself. We thank our brave candidate, Robert
C. Marshall, for stepping forward and making that challenge.
Or if you want to cease receiving our messages, just use the function at http://www.robert06.com/out.htm

I'm all for Ciro (and Lamont) and dumping fake Democrats but I sense something wierd going on. It's almost as if Bush/Rove have been baiting us to turn on these folks (they certainly have a history of hanging moderates who cross the aisle to work with them out to dry and the singling them out for positive attention, well, call me cynical but I'm suspicious). If I had spidersense, it would be tingling now. So I'm beginning to have a nagging doubt about whether the degree of focus on defeating Cuellar and Lieberman is actually hurting more than helping.
No doubt, these two and their ilk have got to go. But aren't there far more problematic Republicans, both in their stances and in the power they hold as members of the majority?
While our caucus would certainly be vastly improved without Lieberman and Cuellar, the money and time and person hours we're spending there would have much greater impact on the nation if used to unseat Republicans.
One of the things I've noticed is that the giving to Ciro over recent days has swamped the giving to other progressive candidates on the same actblue pages. Perhaps we could refocus our efforts to help Rodriguez and Lamont by suggesting that everyone who donates (and who has donated) to match any money given to them by giving to another progressive or at least honestly Democratic candidate to help give Rodriguez and Lamont majorities to belong to?
Just a thought...
