At postzionist blog YaYaCanada:
MEMO to Bible literalists: Based on the ancient Chaldean numerology system used in the Bible:
"George Walker Bush" adds up to 6 (7 + 1 + 7 = 15 = 6)
He was born on the 6th day of July
His complete birthdate adds up to 6 (7 + 6 + 2 = 15 = 6)
Ron Luce's name adds up to 6 (7 + 8 = 15 = 6), but not even Wikipedia gives his birthdate. What's he trying to hide, huh?

What a surprise. Anyone that defends Bush's policies is lying. That's what they do best. They lie all the time and about everything.

Let' see, Kerr's a law professor, Falkenrath is...even a laywer?
More sound and fury, signifying nothing. Falkenrath and WaPo can shill for Bush all they want; the courts really do not care.
The Telcos are in deep doo-doo, if Kerr is right (I have no reason to think he's wrong). Who wouldn't want a piece of that action, even if you think W. has a magic stone that keeps turrists away?

What so totally amazes me is that as the Emperor's poll numbers have dropped, as more and more of the Republican scandals have been uncovered, the Washington Post has actually increased this kind of phony journalism.
It's as if they are determined to mislead their readers.
How sad is that?

We don't expect it go below 30% because seriously, Bush never was that popular back when he was getting good ratings, so there is dishonesty and a ertain minority of dead-enders to take into account. Reading Scott Ritter's Endgame, which is mnot only about the inspections but also the problem of Saddam himself, and Ritter is quite emphatic that the Saddam phenomenon is not just about one man. It "would take two generations" to get him out of the Iraqi system; it was "not a problem that can be solved with a bullet." Bush is very similar. He has these die-hard true believers who will not listen to reason and he relies on domestic surveillance and terror. Of course we are a much larger country than Iraq, but we think Bush would've had the same all-knowing files on every citizen if America was smaller.

Global warming is to blame for the rising numbers of Britons suffering from hay fever, in the first direct impact of climate change on human health in this country.
The pollen from trees and grasses that produces allergic reactions in millions of people is steadily increasing with rising temperatures, according to the UK's leading pollen specialist.
Pollen seasons are lengthening, and the pollen itself is provoking a more powerful reaction - a situation already being reflected in rising GP consultation rates for hay fever, according to Professor Jean Emberlin, director of the National Pollen and Aerobiology Research Unit.
I suffer from slight hayfever myself, all those bloody Oilseed rape fields which seem to be everywhere in the British countryside, looking all sickly yellow.

it was "not a problem that can be solved with a bullet."
So Ari Fleischer was off base when he suggested that just such a thing would solve everything? I still can't believe a U.S. Press Secretary was so officially and publicly flippant about the assassination of another nation's head of state.

No, no, no, it's leagle because he's doing whatever it takes because he swore to do so and he decided this is what it takes and therefore it's leagle -- see? Clear as a bell. I think this weired reading of Article II is what he's basing all of his expanded authority on. I feel I need to do it and therefore I have the authority. It's like all those Perry Mason confessions "Don't you see, I had to kill him."

Desperate spin.
WaPo will pull every two bit yes pledge hack that could crawl up Woodward's ass out in the coming months.
It is not going to matter. People know what they see.
Bush needs another Northwoods. In the meantime they plan on triangulating Ahnuld into the race and are trying to hijack McCain. The Bushes hate McCain and will not let him run the show, ever.

We liberal progressives could be at the forefront of some new education campaigns:
Why the Administration Can't Read
Or Write
Or Interpret the Constitution
Or Faithfully Execute the Laws
Or Prosecute (2) Wars
Or Tell the Truth - Not - Even - Some of The Time?
I think at least one of these is a keeper, don't ya think?

The CEOs of those companies will have much to answer for at the next shareholder meeting.
They flagrantly and willfully violated the law, and now they're going to cost their shareholders millions or billions of dollars.
I suspect (and hope) that the mystical free hand of the market is about to rip those jerks a brand new asshole.
